I love vocal rats. My last baby, Honey, would squeal like I was killing her when I didn't give her some of my food, or if I tried to take things away from her, like a tube of lipgloss she managed to steal from my purse.
@LadyShoyena well she does it when she's playing around with my other rats as well. She always has and has never been sick. They've all had vet check ups and are all perfectly healthy. If you search for Laughing Rats you'll see that it's perfectly normal. Thanks for your concern though, I assure you they are well taken care of.
@shilzna Actually that's not true. She does great with handling. She sqeaks often, If you tickle her sides she squeaks. Please check out my other videos and you'll see I take great care of my rats. I would never hurt them.
@shilzna Oh God, please. I have had pet rats for over 25 years and I know for a FACT that they ALL will roll over on their backs to play and even sleep. Do you have any idea how rough they play with each other? I've had countless rats climb all over me and hang upside down off my clothes and actually prefer it over being set down on safe ground.
my pet rat Loki squeaks when I go to pick him up! I don't even have to touch him, he just squeaks! It's very strange, he never does it to anyone else!
@millievdz Yeah some people say you shouldn't ever hear a rat vocalizing but my girls squeak when we pick them up or tickle their belly and they're in great health. You should post some videos of your little Loki!! I'd love to see him!

@Cattydufus It completely depends on the rat. She has been socialized and does great with being handled. Some rats are just more vocal then others.
