ZOMG you guys are all retarded. you don't need a damn class III license to own a suppressor. all you need is $200 for the fed tax stamp per transaction of class III items.
From my knowledge firing wet means actuality having moisture in the suppressor. My gunsmith was a Private contractor and he said the thing to dos is spray DW40 into the suppressor then start shooting, it cleans the suppressor and the moisture increases the sound dampening effect, I believe you can fire them dry but they won't be as effective.

forever, legality of silencers in the u.s. depends largely what state you live in, as well as your social status. i know that in MI you can get a special permit for it if you are in law enforcement, or if the chief of police gives you express permission.
