First recorded by Freddie Scott in 1963. Listen to Freddie's version and you'll see that Billy does an equally fine job here! Radio should have been all over this song!

Yes, but this was released in late 1997, and the radio stations, espacially in the US, had changed a lot by that time, for that teen stupid music.

What makes this version so great to me, is that he is not playing keyboard so all his emotion and is on vocal. His timing is so right on and the Feel he has for this song is Great. Bravo Billy........

@Roydavila I agree with you 100% but if I am not mistaken BJ re-did this after splitting with Christie. In other words...he was actually singing to her what he was feeling. I had just broke up with a woman I loved deeply but she was not divorced yet and there was too much drama-which I can't handle-I was breaking my no.1 rule never date a woman Still married. Long story short, I let her know it was over.This song came on and our eyes met and locked-I MELTED. Lasted 7 years more years.
