I Just Had Mine Removed And It Hurts But The Painkillers Numb The Pain... Its Not Painfull At ALL I Can Say That.. The Only Thing You Feel Is The Needle That The Doctor Uses To Numb Your Lip... So Dont Be Afraid It Doesnt Hurt

a mucocele forms when any of the minor salivary glands in the mouth mainly located in the inner lip or cheek areas get blocked and it fills up and swells with its own saliva secretion. The most effective way to treat it is to surgically remove the small gland. There are no known non-surgical methods to treat a mucocele.
