Well, it IS explosive, but you can throw it in a fire or hit it with a sledgehammer and it won't go off, plus it is non-toxic and can be stored safely for a long time. The only way tannerite is gonna harm you is through either shrapnel hitting you, or you being dumb enough to stand next to an explosive. I do not condone blowing up objects myself, but I sure as hell love to watch it here on youtube in safety.
First, that's not me behind the trigger. Second, I didn't record the film either. All I did was host it as it was provided to me. I was present at the shoot, and the rifle being fired used to be mine, but that's all the involvement I have in it. :-)
Welcome to 2011, or rather, any day after the invention of the "FAST FORWARD" button, only now its much easier to fast forward. Now you need only to click and the video magically zooms forward into time!!
Don't believe me? Try it! Click that little red bar. Surprised?
finally, a video with the shooter at a safe distance. you see so many vids where the idiot is like a hundred feet away and gets peppered with shrapnel.
well I know that two jars is a quart 4 quarts to a gallon I think so that would make 8 jarsn and a case has 20 jars in it. This video is cool but unless your there and actualy hearing the boom and everything its nothing like being there
Not true. It is akin to Composition 4. It is very stable and Will only detonate with high temperature, Extremely high pressure (such as that from a rifle round) or with an electrical charge on a certain frequency.
@mortimer452 actually high velocity, in otherwords a .22 magnum will detonate it, same with a .17hmr, so dont think you have to have a 30 caliber rifle just to detonate it
That's not me shooting, but yes, it is a suppressed Remington 700 in .308 Win. The rifle used to be mine, and I had a SRT Shadow on it when I owned it. The rifle was already sold to a friend of mine when the video was shot, and I believe he had a YHM suppressor on it at that time.
