people... for motorola, ive never messed with Samsung (motorola) for 2.2.1 z4 root exploit, for 2.2.2 gingerbreak, for 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 petes one click root... none of the exploits i have listed cost any money, im not sure where you have gathered that information. all exploits must have usb debugging enabled

If you just do exactly how poeple tell you and only root your phone with trusted root apps that have a good reputation like this video, then it'll go fine. no worries. Mine is rooted and nothing has gone wrong its runnin' like a champ

@FUTUREsniper13 i would go with z4root from 4shared. unfortunately it doesnt work at all on my samsung epic 4g :( anymore since i updated to 2.2 froyo a few days ago. But i did it to all of my other friends androids and works fine. But go to market and download "4shared". when thats done type "z4root.apk" download the first one. then let the 20 seconds to go down and then itll let you download the app to your phone. when thats done. go to the z4root app and click "permanent root"

@morrelli43 devtheft/abc123 download the .apk and put that info in.. it will unroot with that info. If you are already running the verizon 2.2 no one has an .apk that will work. You will need to use RSDlite. Go fucking suck a dick

@Chris93036 okay. they recently changed it though. jailbreaking no longer voids your warrenty, or at least it didnt for a few months span. although rooting does void your warrenty you could always factory reset and if not accessable on your phone most companies have a pc software (suck as motorola RSD LITE) to flash the bios and firmware
