@mephistomix, what HIV tests are used in SPAIN? Do you have ELISA followed by more specific WesternBlot, or is it only the ELISA which is sensitive, but not as specific as WB is?? In US if a doctor performed ELISA without the confirmatory WB a patient can take his doctor to court for that and sue him for medical negligence. As far as I know many countries don't use WB to confirm ELISA.
iraidushka ~ Western Blot is WAY too expensive ~ so the much cheaper, much more common ELISA is used in most countries for most being tested for almost all infectious viral diseases ~ including HIV which IS NOT infectious & only a harmless, non-transmittable RETROVIRUS! A POSITIVE test result (if the test was accurate of course) would only identify the presence of ANTIBODIES & thus mean IMMUNITY & should be reason to CELEBRATE & NOT sit on death row, nor take any meds!

well it was because I was a stupid teenager, not drugs. Last March, I did go to a specialist and he told me that my viral load was high and that my Tcell count was only at 1800. But, other than that I only had a swollen lymphoid, and it turned out to be genetic. From what I understand, a person with HIV has to have 2 or more other diseases (that they say is caused by the HIV) to have the diagnoses changed to AIDS.

well I was diagnosed with HIV about 13 years ago. I have been with my husband for 15 years. I have 3 kids. My husband and kids do not have HIV. The doctors have told me, that I am just a carrier, that I can not give it to anyone. Most of the the 13 years I have been diagnosed with it, I have not had my meds. I have read about it not existing before. All I can say is they need to figure it out and tell the truth. Just the stigma of being HIV+ changes peoples lives.
You're only a "carrier," due to your low viral load. You can always play the odds and refuse medication, but for every person with stable viral loads like you, there are innumerable people whose CD4 and viral load go into an immunocompromised state.

@1mhiv It is very possible you are already normal. If you took a Western Blot or ELIZA then your test was completely useless as far as science goes. Are you sick? You will become sick if you start taking the meds. First thing to do is start building up your natural immunity. Anyway , we have no idea about your particular case, so it's impossible to say if there is a "natural" cure. ACAM dot org is a good place to find natural or alternative health practicioners.

By the way, AIDS is the whole combination of diseases, often including TB, that happen after a HIV infection. HIV infected still have TB, nobody is denying that, but they respond very diferently to medication than 'healthy' TB patients do.

They keep casting a wider net in a desperate attempt to create the illusion of a cohesive syndrome. In the real world, a syndrome's definition shrinks over time, as it becomes more clearly understood. In the make-believe world of HIV, the syndrome grows because otherwise there would be no syndrome at all.

There must be many factors combined that lead to the collapse of the immune system and further a person develops AIDSyndrome. SIDA (also French) is merely a direct translation of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome abbreviated.
Sadly, the majority of people throughout the world, believe that an HIV test is an AID$ test ~because that's what even the medical folk refer to it as. In the meantime, HIV is a RETROVIRUS for which NO STANDARDS have been determined, so testing positive, if the test was accurate which they seldom are, simply means the presence of antibodies, just as German Measles would show positive in most!

@annie46664, we don't have to go far with the confusion on what HIV is, what the freaging AIDS is. My ex's doctor told him he has AIDS virus! Holy macaronni, I thought that by now after 25 years of these dubious theories on HIV=AIDS and "vast" knowledge about a "deadly" virus a trained doctor would know just what exactly AIDS is. Apparently he doesn't! Absurd!

@mephistomix, what HIV tests are used in SPAIN? Do you have ELISA followed by more specific WesternBlot, or is it only the ELISA which is sensitive, but not as specific as WB is?? In US if a doctor performed ELISA without the confirmatory WB a patient can take his doctor to court for that and sue him for medical negligence. As far as I know many countries don't use WB to confirm ELISA.

iraidushka ~ Western Blot is WAY too expensive ~ so the much cheaper, much more common ELISA is used in most countries for most being tested for almost all infectious viral diseases ~ including HIV which IS NOT infectious & only a harmless, non-transmittable RETROVIRUS! A POSITIVE test result (if the test was accurate of course) would only identify the presence of ANTIBODIES & thus mean IMMUNITY & should be reason to CELEBRATE & NOT sit on death row, nor take any meds!
The lie$ are SHOCKING!

@annie46664 , Dr. Wiess says in the interview with Leung that WB has become a dogma in HIV research, That is was promoted into some sort of Holy Grail, That it is useless, not worth taking diognostic test. Now, he claims he was taken complitely out of context and he was talking "really" about WB being used for screening donors blood. Well, does that mean WB would become suddenly USEFUL diognostic test IF he was to discuss WB being used in individual cases?

@annie46664, according to "scientists's" contradictory statments about HIV tests, both ELISA and WESTERN BLOT should be banned immidietly! They are worthless, highly innacurate, loads of dog's shit tests. I can only imagine those little babies deliberatly being poisoned on the daily basis. We think of US as modern, well-developed western country that have some "morals", yet HIV related atrocities have been executed in this country every single day for quarter century!!! Same atrocities apply

@rebanso lack of clean water, lack of medication to treat those diseases. What kind of immune system will handle all of those demaging conditions? Thus, thousands of africans develop AIDSyndrome - a combination of many conditions and diseases, however if you go to Wikipedia and look up AIDS...TB, Malaria, parasitosis and such are not included in the catigory of AIDS defying diseases. Africans diognosed with AIDS without HIV tests. Even the very existence of HIV is questionable.

well it was because I was a stupid teenager, not drugs. Last March, I did go to a specialist and he told me that my viral load was high and that my Tcell count was only at 1800. But, other than that I only had a swollen lymphoid, and it turned out to be genetic. From what I understand, a person with HIV has to have 2 or more other diseases (that they say is caused by the HIV) to have the diagnoses changed to AIDS.

There is no test for HIV. Just read the scientific literature. Don't listen to what scientists say. Examine the different criteria used around the world & evidence for yourself. Just because someone wearing a white coat says the tests are accurate means nothing. What would u actually want them to do, admit they've made a mistake.
This is no different then asking a murder if he killed someone. What's he going to say, yes? Of course not. HIV is the same. They will never admit this is a rouse.

well I was diagnosed with HIV about 13 years ago. I have been with my husband for 15 years. I have 3 kids. My husband and kids do not have HIV. The doctors have told me, that I am just a carrier, that I can not give it to anyone. Most of the the 13 years I have been diagnosed with it, I have not had my meds. I have read about it not existing before. All I can say is they need to figure it out and tell the truth. Just the stigma of being HIV+ changes peoples lives.

You're only a "carrier," due to your low viral load. You can always play the odds and refuse medication, but for every person with stable viral loads like you, there are innumerable people whose CD4 and viral load go into an immunocompromised state.

Perhaps the more logical explanation is that she is not infected.If someone can be infected for decades without getting sick or transmitting it to others, perhaps it's not a disease at all.
