Well all I have to say is that I've been making amvs for 2 years ^^" I started with watching montagical's videos, go to his channel he's got great tutorials. As for making good videos, well mine aren't that good imo, but just do what you want to do with your videos, your style, colours/effects that you like. You can get inspiration from game/anime openings or video clips ^^

I can tell you put alot of hard work into this because it shows in the way you chose perfect clips to match each vers of the song, and wow 25 to 30 hours that's a long time!
