its more like the book or the orginal screenplay, i know in the book they found what they called urns (not sure if thats the right word) not eggs, and one of them was open and a facehugger was in it or something its been a while since i last read the book, but its very good and i recommend it. so not an earlier form of alien the same just in a different context.

Just as the Halo franchise took many thematic and stylistic content from James Cameron's Aliens.
