I had a site for over 2 years since ive been using adsense ive had problems google have now taken my site down for some unknow reason (ive no copyright stuff on the site and have checked with everywhere ive links to to make sure ive not broken any copyright). The sites been taken down an put back up twice. My advice DONT use Adsense

My experience at sites.google.com was as follows:

I hit a data volume point such that the editor would no longer load.

No matter what I did (clear cache, history, etc., it would not load.)

From what I see it never occurred to Google, and still does not occur to them,

to provide a mechanism for preventing a customer from entering a zone of

volume that risks: NEVER BEING ABLE TO EDIT YOUR SITE AGAIN.

Absent that, from my own way of looking at it, you're playing

YOU will see the other comment above mine also - the video did not include the CC feature. Also, the google AUTOMATIC cc feature is not comprehensible half the time. I don't know which video this is about, yet it did not include CC when I watched it or the other person also. It is up to the AUTHOR/the person who makes the video to add the CC (using a transcript of the words). best wishes to you.

I'm finished with my unpaid career as a lab rat for Google. Their treatment of "beta testers" meaning anyone who uses Google products is really evil.

Do you have a domain through google? A webhost is where you domain is parked. I don't know what adsense is. In order to see your site it needs to be published to the web.

Google sites is a great tool for small English sites (other languages are expected soon). At this rate, I suspect that in a few years I will have to move to advertising.

Neat, will try it out.. You can't have individual (uploaded) files unlike in Google Page Creator which limits it but anyways it looks good.

Total size limit 10Gb with 10Mb individual file size limit, looks excellent but what about bandwidth, the number of pages/sites?

I certainly hope so.. A set cap for the amount of pages and/or bandwidth (as with Google Page Creator) severely limits the viability in considering a "serious" website.

I have to look into the quality of the code but this definitely looks like a promising replacement for small business Content Management Systems.

Before you add more crap, they should change the main page.... if you look at it you just see a search bar at first(and that is and should be the main focus) but you never really remember all of the extra features on some little insignificant tool bar at the top of your screen. Needs more attention or new users will never realize those features for some time.
