Love it! It makes me realise that I'm not alone in my pursuit of being a musician!!! Also agree with the Managers/bookers/venues etc....it would be interesting to see what their income is and how they survive...e.g. if they have to have other jobs.

A tad bit disheartening at first, but something the starvin' artist should already be well aware of before taking that career direction. But yes, persistence and passion I've heard repeatedly as key to achieving what you want, and I agree.

Also I'd like to see someone do the same but with the statistics for the other people who work in the creative sectors... the 'non artists' like agents, bookers, managers, venues, gallery owners, websites, journalists, etc...

To be honest I got a litte confused about the median income section - what is the median income of an artist from their creative work not from income combined? I also would have liked to see the opposing statistic to the 1 in 50 that earn over $150,000 - what is the income at the lower end?
