They can't wrap it all up neat and tight and put a bow on it- without it being painfully obvious that is all they are doing (HP 7 comes to mind specifically the epilogue). I think it will be best if left as if it is just any other day- and this song fits that perfect
look house is a DRAMA, meaning its about life. u cant tell me that anywhere u work or go to school there isnt something about relationships going on or things being hectic. house is become more real life. yeah so the patiants aren't the main focus. its not about them its about the lifes of the doctors and the choices they make that save or kill there patiants. thats life. plus if the show wasnt good or it put the ppl to sleep would it be on its 7th season? i mean come on, its a great show
@CRUNTCHBITE It's one of the greatest fiction dramas ever made for TV. When I studied fiction in college the very first thing we learned is that you can't write good fiction/drama without conflict. And there's all kinds of conflicts on House. They're not always resolved the way we'd like but it's still damned good. As with all hospitals patients come and go and as you said it's the doctors that are the main focus. The patients just provide something around which the conflict resolves.
@CRUNTCHBITE See I think their best episodes are the medical intense ones. Especially in the earlier seasons. Season 6 wasn't too hot in my opinion. But they were feeling around the new "clean" House, and seeing what they could do. Season 7 has been mainly medically focused, which I like. I mean they keep the backstories going and develop subplots with patients, but the difference between ER, Grey's Anatomy, and House is that House is pretty medically based.
I really liked this show, I used to enjoy every second of it. But... Thing is House MD is getting worse and worse, the story is shallow, Im really pissed of how the staff is still quitting and coming back again, how are they jabbering about every shit that happend, its more like a soap opera... Today I watched the 11th episode of 6th series and when I look back and watch the first episodes I get goose bumps, I can't believe how the brilliance can turn into sludge like it is now...

@TomGino They are definitely not. How can the show be amusing after 120 episodes that don't differ from each other? You know what to expect from the beginning right to the last minute. First, patient scene: A man/woman suddenly starts acting weird, then he crumples to the ground while others calling for the ambulance (the actors are bad, I dont believe them their acting). Then comes the deep moral, sexual, work analysis of some persons of the team....
@dejffjed And then, at the end, during one of the countless dialogues House is blessed with a great idea and realises he was wrong all the time and starts trating the patient for a bizzare, unexpected disease. Once the patient is cured melancholic melody comes up and the director shows us how miserable, sad but a little bit happy at the same time the characters are... New episode next week! Ohhhh, boreeeeeeed...

That was good. I'll admit it. You ALMOST had me going. But then you said that this song, "You Can't Always Get What You Want", a released by the Rolling Stones in 1969, originally came from a show that debuted in 2007. Furthermore, you claim that a show produced by the Showtime channel is the best show on TV in the last ten years. That's just silly.
And, yes, the show is repetitive in that it follows the same course for the PATIENTS, which are not, in reality, the main focus of the show. This isn't ER. In fact, ER didn't even focus on the patients all that much. This isn't General Hospital, then. The patients are there because it's a hospital. The show is about relationships. I'm sorry you've got your head so far up your ass that you can't see that. It must be very uncomfortable.

It is such an amusing way how to get at relationships questions by 40 minutes of trying to cure the patient! ;-) It's not only the plot, the content of each episode, it's even about script, director job, actors... @dejffjed ...There are 3-4 scenes when House walks the corridor of the hospital being followed by 1 or 2 employees who are trying to make House a better person. They finish when House get to the elevator where he says something sarcastic and mocking and the team leaves him alone... In the middle of the episode a couple of minor troubles with patient occures. Ten minutes before the end the team starts treating the patient for wrong disease which almost kills him...
I'd kill to have a doc like this dude. Attitude, No BS, Fuk what everybody else thinks, the impoite truth rather then a polite lie, and a Master Manipulator. That coupled with the best f'ng band that came out of their era. A Perfect match. Wish I had his scripts for oxy's.
Heroes ! Lost ! Compared to House MD they are visual polution.. For tight script, story lines and character development. House MD is brilliant. Plus the music just fits soo well.

After watching the show you fall in love with the characters, especially House, because he loves what he does and he acts like he is an ass, but deep down he is a good person and a magnificent doctor. House represents what many of us go through at some point in our lives, not fitting in, acting distance from others, feeling broken. But really all he wants is to be happy and feel loved even though he won't admit it.

@tommerrigan1956 I second your sentiment actually. Fact is, some people just dont get the idea that keeping things civil is the only real means of promoting self interest. Spewing profanity and degrading others makes the antagonist more of a target for hazing and correction, thus further derailing the health of their pursuit of happiness. To put it simply, if someone is going to do something, they should do it right. llsp0 down there shows a textbook example of doing the exact opposite of right.

There was absolutly no correlation between the song and the show aside from House quoting the Stones in one eppisode. The purpose of this video is completely nonexistent. And yet my mind has been absolutlely blown away by the genius i have just witnessed... LONG LIVE HOUSE AND THE STONES!!!

This video is pretty bad. It's just a bunch of random scenes mashed together.
The song, on the other hand, is awesome and is the only reason I think the vid is getting 300 comments and 577 rating...
Seriously... and I looked through the comments. It seems like no one really gives a crap about the actually video. All I'm seeing is "Omg, House is the best" and "this song is my all time favorite".
