You know because of the drag and drop problem on hitfilm would you be able to extend the time of the voucher because I downloaded the demo and I had that problem and I don't want to buy it if it can't be fixed?
@TheSlimeBox oooh, do you mean the stock footage dvds? Those arn't software, they are just media files. I'm afraid they don't qualify for the discount.
I have been the proud owner of the Vision Lab program since 2007. Shelled out the $500.00 and never looked back. I am so happy to have been a member of FXhome since then. And now, it looks like, with Hitfilm, I'll be doing even more things, and even better. CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO COME OUT, and thanks to you all a billion times over for the 40% off voucher soon to be seen in my account....now when was the release date? ;)
It's a shame that the vouchers only work for 40 days, because i won't be able to raise the money in time, being only 14 years old. Still, I can see that it's a good deal for people with more money!
Will HitFilm be Boxed or Download or can you buy a Boxed one and (also) still get the download directly from the site as per previous FXHome products?
@darkpivotstudios Have you contacted FXhome support about this? They might be able to locate and fix your account. Head over to the support section on the FXhome website!
will hitfilm have 2d or 3d motion tracking? because thats what frustrated me the most with visionlab. and how do we get the vouchers for the discount?
@Hardrock131 dude, they've said multiple times now that 2D motion tracking will be delivered as soon as possible after the release, and you can import 3d motion tracking data.
@Hardrock131 3D camera tracking import is already in - check out the blog for more info. 2D feature point tracking will be coming shortly after release. :)
@TeenandMean The discount vouchers will work for the first 60 days after the product is released. HitFilm is a Windows only product - more information can be found on the launch blog (see the video description for a link).
AWESOME! Great work guys! I remember using Effectslab Lite to upgrading to the pro versions. Check out my old videos to see how your awesome software helped me make convincing effects that impressed a lot of people. Hitfilm looks like a smash hit! (bet you saw that pun coming). Anyway, consider me sold to it. Cannot wait to get my hands on it! Keep it up!
In the past I have bought Composit labs pro ,effects labs pro, video wrapper, and now you are changing to HitFilm? are the old products still going to be supported, or does everything I paid for in the past go out of date? In this economy I cannot afford a magazine subscription, much less a new product for $399 even if it's 40% off. if it was 80% off I still could not justify the cost. I use Video Studio for editing, and FX is a small part of the big picture. so far, I'm not too happy
@weaponeer It's entirely up to you whether you purchase HitFilm or not. We will continue to provide technical support for the Lab products for a good long while.
The products you paid for are still the same and you can continue using them. However, as a software developer we do need to occasionally release new software, and HitFilm is the best product we've ever created. But, as always, it is entirely up to the individual customer whether they buy a product.
@weaponeer HitFilm is comparable to After Effects which is $1000+ (and you can't really use that to edit with it)
So $399 with 40% discount is amazing value....FXhome is not a charity ( though at these costs it almost is)
I think mibbe Hitfilm is not the software for you as you state that FX is a small part of Your picture.....Fx is a large part of mine and Im still reeling at the low cost of it... I would like to see Adobe, Red Giant or Sapphire give 40% loyalty discounts...
@Sloganlogo - personally I'll be forced to change over to after effects because it's a known standard, with hundreds of presets, and international support. As a disabled Veteran, disability pay does not allow me to purchase the product within 60 days, so rather than 40% off, I'm stuck at full price. and it's a given that adobe will be adding to the product for years to come, and the same cannot be said for fxhome (see labs), so as a loyalty discount, it's still not a discount for "my" loyalty.
@weaponeer The Lab products received many huge updates, entirely for free, during their lifetime. The entire lightning engine was added for free to VisionLab, for example, quite a while after the initial release. HitFilm will have extensive post-release support, as outlined in yesterday's video over on the FXhomeHitFilm channel.
Man if I have hitfilm I would make movies and avertise for u guys

@stanwayroad The drag and drop issue was fixed in an update last week for tablet users. Some touch screen PCs may still be affected.
