@cammyboy16 I have an iPod Touch 2G MC model and I jailbroke it ever since I got it. If you updated your ipod via itunes to the latest version then you're probably screwed and can't jailbrake. With a jailbroken ipod you can get tons of free apps, free games, add backgrounds to your ipod, customize everything basically. Jailbroken = true freedom. When you jailbreak your device you feel like you truly own it.

1st of all, turn OFF any antivirus software. 2nd, make sure iTunes or it's processes(Task Manager) doesn't run in the background. 3rd, right-click the greenpois0n icon, click properties. Go to Compatibility tab, check the box where it says, 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and choose Windows XP (service pack 2). Then check the 'Run this program as Administrator' box and click OK. 4th, make sure you turn off you ipod before jailbreak, hold the sleep button for 4 secs

@moneybag454 it is reversible. You can get the original ipod/iphone screen display if you restored your ipod/iphone using iTunes.

And if i want it back to normal i have to restore which is always taking up a lot of time. also, i have ipod touch 2 gen 8 gb mc model on 4.1 firmware, and itunes 10. any help would be most appreciated!
