One thing i think you should be able to do though is rapid fire/extended mags, and I think if hardline made it 2 less they would make it not affect Spy Plane/RC Car because that would be to cheap to get a kill-streak with 1 kill because that's not a streak

Most set their customs and play, however what many fail to understand is that you must adjust your killstreak settings to the levels. For example ,using a Care package on Nuketown is likely going to get stolen due to level size. In summary the creators have made it so you can't change your killtstreak during the gaming for a reason

On big levels, it's best to use a Hardline perk to gain a Spy plane with just two kills, and a sniper rifle gun with a suppressor to stay hidden. Decoy too

sam turret is a killstreak that ypu can place somewhere, mustly in your base or a place with no roofs. the sam turret is a air killer. is shoots spy planes, counter spy planes, attack, gunship, chopper and all the other air support. BUT it dosent shot the blakbird, sadly :(

I'm my opinion the perk you will use depends mostly on the map. In small maps suchs as firing range or nuketown I use scavenger to pick up frag or semtex to keep throwing bombs, since the maps are small is very easy to blow up people. When it's a huge map I choose marathon, ghost etc

@sekayujora Killstreaks are like equipment. When you have killed for example three people you get a notification "3 Killstreak! Spy plane available." Then you push a button, depending on console, and then one of these happens: Select location(Radio the coordinates), Select a location(Throw a smoke grenade, automatically obtained along with the killstreak.), Instant Activate(Spy planes for example), or Control the Killstreak.

For example on the Second Chance, once you have taken enough damage to normally die, instant your character falls down to the floor to an "injured stance", and equips a pistol regardless wether your class has a pistol or not(In the case you do, then he will take that pistol, and the pistol will have full ammo again instantly.). Then you just have to shoot.

KILLSTREAKS: (HARDLINE PRO, STEADY AIM PRO, TACTICAL MASK PRO)

1: SAM TURRET: (u can change up for something else)

2: NAPALM STRIKE: (placed correctly is very effective)

3: ROLLING THUNDER\CAPET BOMB: (awsome if placed over enemy spawn)

these killstreaks r not the highest but r very effective. My k/d per game has gone through the roof. i am now over 2.0k/d ratio in my combat record

Hey! I have Black Ops on PS3 and i can explain some of the killstreaks:

BlackBird is much like UAV or Spy plane, but it lasts longer, and cannot be shot down. BlackBird shows you in the radar where is the enemy looking at.

Sam Turret is placed on ground and whenever it detects enemy Spy Plane, it will be shot down.

I haven't used Rolling Thunder so much, but i's like a bomber. You place it on a radar and it will send an plane to bomb that area.
