Went from an 06 Astra VXR to an 09 Focus RS - both great cars. Look forward to see what Vaux do with the next Astra VXR, as it's probably what I will buy to replace the RS next year.

@RSTBADBOY im not a chav my lad, im 23, have a vxr astra arctic with every box ticked running stage 3.5 323bhp, im not a chav, im a working guy, im a mechanic, and for your information, i have welded the sill on a 55 plate ka, and also the newer style fiesta, 54 plate. vauxhall have not rotted to weldng extent, since the 90's, cavaliers, astra mk3's, novas, yes they understeer if you go into a roundabout at full throttle, every car would, if you know how to handle a car its always a bonus

Its hilarious how every so often a user calls a vauxhall a chavy car ! both these cars cost 18 - 23 000 pounds ! Clarkson calls a vxr a boy racer car, this doesnt mean chavy.

Astra's at Stage 2 like mine put out around 280bhp, stage 3 around 300bhp. Standard RS's wouldn't stand a chance if you fitted an LSD aswell.

check out VXR vs Focus RS Mk 2 just uploaded a video from Shakespeare raceway from the weekend.... the results speak for them selves. All runs on the same track and same day.... and the VXR won. Also I spoke to the RS drivers and the one one which is white with black alloys and bonnet vents was pushing alot more than 350 bhp!!!

@doobyjim 5 cylinder 2.5 turbo vs 4 cylinder 2.0 turbo... Astra done well to be honest not sure of mods or anything but the focus comes with over 300 bhp, LSD etc to keep the power down... The astra vxr with stage 2 remap and miltek is about 280 bhp...
