Man..... there is everywhere it's own shit to be taken by the one at every motherfucking company and country. Is there any place to stay clear of it? May be on the ice roads up in Yellowknife?

yea we slip seat also. its horrible... just today i got done early, so i washed the truck up. broke the soap and sponge out and went to town. that way monday morning ill be rollin nice.... nope as soon as i leave i come to find out somoene had to use my truck. i garuntee monday morning ill have no fuel at 3am with no fuel stops open, and my fresh wash will have gone to shit, and ashes from cigrettes will be everywhere. makes me so fustatetd i feel like quiting sometimes.

Yup...thats just ignorant. I hate it when my truck go's out on my days off...pisses me off. I almost lost it on the boss because of my truck having enough dirt on the floors to grow tomato's down there. Broke my mic for my CB..no fuel...etc. Needless to say..my truck stays put now when I am off. Boss cant aford to loss the good drivers he has. HATE SLIP SEATING!! GRRRRR!!!

My company doesn't do nights out and the trucks run 24/7. Sometimes I have to drop the trailer and hook up to another while the other driver is waiting.
But to have your own truck there on OTR and have your stuff nicked and used is BAD. Sounds like an agency driver.

I drive for JB and they do slip seating but they let you know if someone else is gonna get your truck if you stay off for to long and tell you that if you don't clean it out they will do it at the shop and when u come back u get a detailed clean truck and all ur stuff back. The fuel thing is NOT cool! I really didnt know they swiched drivers around. Maybe you would be happier with the joys of truck ownership? $7000 to replace the cooling system? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?? 18,000 for an in frame resleeve?
Do you go home every week? Or stay out 4-6? The reason I ask is its alot easyer to move your stuff in and out if you are home alot. If not then its really a bad deal. Dosnt say much for a company that does that. I left one because of that once. As for the condition of the truck the boss can deal with the driver if you let him know. Or you could just jack him up next time you see him. Just make sure you have the cam on. I would love to see it.
