  • @ZeroRyoko, Vila ducks according to the book, Avon is captured.

  • In the book that follows on Avon and Villa Escape, Apparently they duck and the guards shoot each other :))

  • @ZeroRyoko But Vila was shot

  • dunno how but oddly fitting =D

  • @dutchycooper how ace in billions of ways.

  • lol Jailhouse rock?

  • LOL!

  • Yes Jailhouse Rock!!

  • Cool edit!

Love the audio stories as well - wish there were more

Will we ever see B7 (new) again on TV??????

Would love an update on UFO & Space 1999 as well

Trouble is all the command posts would have to be filled with butch women because of all that PC crap

Still STARBUCK's pretty cool on the remake of BSG !

  • I am sorroy, but who the heck was talking about Colin Baker??????????? Colin Baker???????????? AS Blake????????? I really in my infinite wisdom think not!

  • @caposada1 I say Colin Baker would have been bloody good as Blake, he would have never left the series after season two like Gareth Thomas foolishly did.

  • @caposada1 Colin Baker in the form he played as the Doctor no, but the bit part he did here in Blake's 7 as a bad guy does a better job at showing his versatility. I don't know as far as being Blake himself, but it does help when looking at all he's done in the show. ;)

  • I must say...I am a good old age now...even if they re-made this, there is no-one out there who could play Avon!!!

  • @caposada1 Paul Darrow, a man who is quite literally too awesome at his job for his own good!

  • Bloody BBC sci fi haters. Cretins, slime pond life. The people who ended Blake's seven like this should have had "Worthless" inscribed on their headstones.

  • @SvenTviking Well said! (Well PRINTED anyway...)

  • A tragic ending, but powerful!

  • I think it was a bloody shame arch-enemy Servalan was omitted from this final episode surely it makes sense to have the arch-enemy in the final episode. I have also heard fans speculate, that the Blake Avon shot dead in this episode was a clone similar to the two seen in the series two episode weapon. I suppose it is highly possible, but who really knows we cannot possibly know aftre nearly thirty years since the series was ended. I wish Colin Baker had played, Blake he would have stayed around

  • @rojblake82 I agree. Servalan should have been in it and Avon or Tarrant should have shot her at the end. Instead of arlen it should have been servalan who kills Dayna because they both hate each other.

  • @CYBERDOODY I in in full agreement with you that it should have been Servalan who kills Dayna, instead of Arlen as servalan and dayna hate each other. I also think Avon or Tarrant should have shot their arch-enemy Servalan dead, which would have been a good demise for Servalan I wish that could have been the case. What is your opinion if any that I think Colin Baker would habe been a good Blake and he would have stayed in B7 until it finished. I would rather Colin Baker, had played Blake myself.

  • @rojblake82 I like both actors. Gareth was alway superb as Blake though. Especially in this episode. Colin would have been good too but I liked Blake they way he was.

  • Now thats a funny picture Avon dancing like Elvis whilst the Federation troops are doing their Jailhouse Rock coreography in the background.

  • it ended pefectly

  • according to novel afterlife set just after this episode avon and the others were stunned and not killed because servalan wanted to know where orac was hidden, avon and villa got away.

  • @thanqualhighseer That could have been a good idea for at least one more season!

  • Avon's laugh at the end of that just before we heard all those shots in the original was the most haunting moment in the entire series.

  • saw that first time round, was completely gutted the good guys were killed!!.... but that was funny!!

  • that was the most horrid idea EVER!

  • Now if that had been me I would have slowly burst into tears in front of the Fed thugs & proceded to beg for mercy. "Oh pleeeeeaaase," *sobs* , "pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase!!!".

  • Nice. . . .

  • there was a quote from Paul Darrow just after this aired. When asked about another series he stole a line...." the rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated"

  • Like it.

  • @Nautilus1972 i didn't and i know that Avon will live becouse the sound of the blast was a signal but what i know, dont you

  • @inzen1909 Avon COULD have survived if only because HE would have had some type of force bubble device on him!

  • @leaderstragg People are not immortal not even Avon, everybody who lives dies that is a fact and not a theory, a hypothesis, a supposition or even an opinion we are all mortal.

  • @rojblake82 That's why he would need a force bubble!

  • ... that or maybe 'You Give A Little Love' from Bugsy Malone...

  • Actually I like it!!

  • hahaha

  • Barking. Love it.

  • 5stars.

  • very funny
