I used to work on a railroad section gang that managed the tracks that ran through the valley, between Wymore, Nebraska and Concordia Kansas. When I worked there, in 1972, I had a 67 Firebird that I never dared take on this road.
Different now with a Forester. There used to be an abandoned brick house at the bottom of the hill about a hundred yards from the tracks. I was looking to see if it was still there. The bridge is no longer there, so I never found the house.
