Keren - Eritrea by World On Communications - Italy

I'm, Eritrean from nakfa my granfather was in the Italian military they took him from his village by force( Sahil; region)and he left behind 3 young children one of them is my father . he never return back (WW2). AT least if I know where he die .please if any one has the same case as me and he knows any things about that period of time or about the young men that they being took from ( Sahil,Nakfa) and joined the Itraly army feel free to contact me.

My Uncle died at the Battle of Keren on 15th March 1941 & he is buried in the British cemetary in Keren. I really want to visit his grave one day.

I am concerned for your uncle and for all people died in any fucking war. I do not conceive wars in any means. I know of this war when I was In Keren two years ago. Local people give me information about place worth visiting and I show what is important for them to be preserved...I wish you liked my video and you can watch other trailer on my channel or on my website...Please, enjoy the life as much as you can....bye

Thank you for your reply, I really enjoyed watching your film, It seems like an amazing beautiful part of the world, and I will be buying your film. Like yourself, I am against all wars, My Uncle, like many many others from both sides of the conflict had no choice but to be sacrificed. The irony from my familys perspective was that my Uncles mother, (my grandmother), was Italian, Many of my relatives in Scotland were interred in prison camps during the Second World War.
