I love Sarah Palin, it's a shame she is not our president. Her intellect, wit, and knowledge far surpasses any candidate I have EVER heard. VIVA LA SARAH PALIN!
Sarah Palin is a spy with a fabricated name and history.
Learn what Obama, Osama, Biden, Bin Laden, the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists, and Sarah Palin had to do with the last presidential election and the military’s overthrow of our government.
@OriginalFroggyStyle It is important to expose the pathetic propaganda that is passed off as journalism these days. Americans deserve to get honest discourse on important issues like the debt ceiling and this was just irresponsible non sense. MSNBC has one of the worst ratings of cable news channels, and it is no wonder by seeing crap like this.
It is this Olbermann wannabe that is using the logical fallacy rather than addressing the substance of what Palin said about the debt ceiling. Instead they attempted to ridicule her by showing what she said about Paul Revere,(which Boston historians have confirmed that she was right about). 150 economists agree with Palin over Geitner, who could not even file his own taxes correctly.
At least you address issues, unlike most of the leftist that disregard the substance of her message to focus and lie about her intellect and attempt to smear her because they can't compete in the arena of ideas.
I'm VERY anti-palin... but this reporting is really bad. Her terribly inaccurate historical account of Paul Revere has nothing to do with her opinion on economics. But she's partially right that a Catastrophe wouldn't necessarily hit the American people. If we cut back on our military budget (which is 50% of our federal budget, and makes up 48% of WORLDWIDE military spending) we'd be pretty well off. However, we all know our government would never do that, even if it were the right thing to do.
@Marcownz747 Palin's account of Paul Revere was accurate, so by this reporters own logic, if she was right about that she must be right about the debt ceiling. Geitner is a tax dodging moron.
@bluegsp No, it actually wasn't. Her account of Paul Revere was terribly "re-written". There were no bells, it didn't serve as a warning to the British, and was literally only a warning to the people that the British were invading by sea (nothing about them "taking our arms"). But the logic doesn't matter. One's views on Paul Revere (Even if terribly inaccurate) don't make or break their economic views. The two just don't go together. It's the logical fallacy of Appeal-to-ridicule.
@Marcownz747 Yes, it actually was. If you read the history of that event and even Paul Reveres own account of it, you will learn that the mission of the British was to capture the colonies stores of weapons and ammunition and arrests Adams and Hancock. Paul warned the British that the colonists knew they were coming and 500 militia men were waiting for them. They then heard church bells and warning shots that convinced them that Paul was right and they released him and withdrew.
@Marcownz747 The fact that they had to deploy this "logical fallacy" shows that they cannot argue the substance of her statement about the debt ceiling. But to be completely wrong in their attempt at ridicule of her just highlights their bias and agenda. Of course this is MSNBC which nobody watches or takes seriously anyway. XD
@bluegsp I agree on that much. But anybody who watches a major news network (CNN, FOX, MSNBC) for their news is an ignorant slob. I happen to agree with NOT raising the debt ceiling, but I also think that we should be saying "Fuck the troops" and cutting their wages, benefits, and getting our military spending to around 10% (rather than the 50% its at). I'm not conservative, I dislike Palin, and I'm extremely leftist, but I HATE when ANYBODY uses logical fallacies to attempt to prove THEIR point
She should go back to lap dancing and booty shaking at the local morgue, She hasn't sense God gave a goose. Sorry I just insulted the goose. By all due respect this is definitely the village idiot and should be avoided at all cost. My appeal on the press, please refrain from giving this court jester the opportunity to comment, she is an insult to my intelligence. Someone kill it before it multiplies.!!!!!
Now this is where Sarah becomes a very dangerous messenger. Her uninformed, stupid and incorrect comments about secretary of the treasury, Geithner are dangerous because she is in an inexplicable position of authority where a lot of non-thinking, poorly educated people believe all that she says.
I used to find humor in her dumbness but now I beginning to believe her 15 minutes is up.
Palin is unbelievably dumb. (facepalm) As bad as the educational system is, I don't think you can pin this one on schools. I would love someone to ask her if the Earth is flat.
Sarah Palin has a degree in masturbation economics.
