I love Meryl and Jim is okay, but this movie was awful. They didn't go in order of the books and I know most movies based off books are like that, but this was way worse. Hence the reason they haven't made more, I'm sure.

I think they should have kept the extended scene with Aunt Josephine sinking into the water, its much darker and you get the idea better that she is being eaten by the leeches. I felt the movie on a whole really took out much of the darkness of the books. This is Lemony Snicket's books, for crying out loud!! lol.
