  • hmmm okay so women are different from men...

maybe us men should fucking make women our slaves and treat women like lessers because u are different

no we are all equal and saying treating something different is okay is like saying treating a black person as a lesser human being is okay

it saddens me that there are still ignorant people like this

how does this bitch get off saying that homosexuals shouldnt get married

shes just jealous shes too ugly for anyone to love her

  • She looks retarded.

  • Honestly, why is this such a big deal? Just because gay marriage is legal doesn't mean you have to get one. Plus, if it's legal, you can still bitch about how wrong you think it is. In fact, there will be even more married gay people to bitch at. Where's the downside?

  • HEY EVERYONE !!! Maybe you can see why Dr. Phil's audience are fucked up. They openly support bigotry and prejudice when they clap for that woman. People are crazy to say it's not bigotry......when denying and certain group rights is CLEARLY BIGOTRY.

  • The guy arguing for same sex marriage uses court cases. The woman arguing against it uses the bible. I think that says everything that needs to be said.

  • so basically she's saying that marriage is only for procreation.

somebody should ask her then, so what if the woman or male is infertile, so should there spouse divorce them b/c they can't procreate!!!!

she's an embarrasement to all females.

  • I know gay mindset. I was gay for 20 years and all I saw and offered was perversion and depression. Marriage? o.O. In any case, it's great to know that gay people have a choice. I turned to Jesus and He healed me of homosexuality. That was my choice. What is yours? You decide. My story: ilivestraight site.

  • @sinisbal

Healed you of your homosexuality. That's rich. That's like me saying that Jesus healed me of child abuse by forcing my step-mom kill herself by making her mix vicodin with the pain killers they gave her in the hospital. Jesus didn't heal you, you made a choice…a pretty cowardly choice if you ask me, but it was your choosing, nonetheless. Sad thing is, I bet you still lust after cock to this day and you keep praying to the mythical man in the sky to expunge these desires.

  • @sinisbal

"I was gay for 20 years and all I saw and offered was perversion and depression"

Ya know... I've been out of the closet for 19 years and I'm NOT perverted or depressed.

So, is it ok for my partner and I to have a CIVIL marriage?

Like you said, YOU made a choice. So, why can't I make a choice to get married to a guy?

  • @sinisbal With all due respect, because i'm sure you've gotten lots of verbal attacks, i've been gay for 25 years and perversion and depression hasn't been a big part of my life, and I really feel that it's just because you've never really been around a good support system.I feel like people who think theyre cured from "being gay" are just brought around people who don't understand, respect, or accept who you really are. I just feel kinda bad because i don't feel ur truly happy

  • I thought it was supposed to be a panel of experts.... Guess I was wrong.

  • Marriage is defined in the bible. The bible is part of the church. Our for-fathers made the constitution for freedom and equal rights and in the constitution its said that church and state are TWO separate things. Therefore, the bible cannot define what can and cant happen.

  • @aprilsitaly You don't even have to be Christian to be married, and I'm pretty sure marriage existed before Christianity, as in other cultures had marriage as well. My point is don't look to the Bible for definitions of anything

  • I am with that lady and she is saying the truth

  • @JasielMartin92 Jesus was a homosexual Jew so Gays should be allowed to be married

  • @youngatnaruto Excuse me but you are wrong Jesus is not a homosexual.Listen God made the man and women to fall in love with each other so that way they could make kids. Not Man and Man or Women and Women. So you are wrong and by the way go to church because the are to say the truth that gay marriage is wrong.

  • @JasielMartin92 jesus hanged around, fonled with men he was a virgin he barely

hung around women..he wore long dresses..he had long hair

he was homosexual nothing wrong with that

and im afriad of going to church i might get raped by a priest

these days they say one thing and they do something esle behind closed doors

  • @JasielMartin92 by the way thier sceintific evidence showing men

    with homosexual tendencies towards males

and females with tendencies towards thier fellow female counterpart

  • There are two sides in there audience, one side is anti-gay marriage. That's why the ignorant fucks laughed.

  • By that woman's logic and tradition:

Men and women are seperate but equal. The military and work and public appearance are all places for men. And women aren't to be speaking so loudly, and should be kept at home doing what they got married for, taking care of the man, her guardian's, children.

  • tell that to sterile, barren, and hermaphrodite people, you idiot!!

  • that woman is a cow seriously everyone should have equal rights like it or not the world is changing & same sex couple deserve the right to marry adopt & all the same rights thats straight people have

  • If marriage is solely about reproduction then I guess people who are born infertile, as well as old people who can no longer reproduce, do not have a right to get married. And what do you make of hermaphrodites? Open your minds! Heterosexuals aren't the only people who exist and they certainly do not own world!

  • @ImagineRealistically exactly!! wells said

  • We have marriage because man and woman are able to procreate? That must be why sterile men and women aren't allowed to marry. What a stupid argument

  • lady, 2 men or 2 women can adopt a child and have a loving family raising that child as good as, if not better than, any straight couple. quit hating.

  • I completely disagree with that woman, if we aren't going to give gays the right to get married... I have a great idea! Let's take away womens rights as well, see how she feels about that... stupid whore.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 Ha. Sure. If you had any plausible argument, you could just as easily make it in one or two comments instead of responding to all of them individually. As a matter of fact, you could have done that two days ago instead of drawing it out like this. No, YOUR issue isn't with how to respond, but that you have nothing to respond WITH. And so you're whining about not having enough time and not wanting a larger debate and me giving you headaches instead of just shutting up -->

  • --> and putting facts on the table like I did. I'll sit here and wait. Just watch, this next comment of your's will just be more complaining and excuses.

  • People are treated like second class citizens because of who they are (um flashback to segregation anyone?) .I honestly don't understand bigoted people like this. Haven't we already learned about equality in history class in our textbooks? Or is it really guna take another hundred years to fight for equality.

  • Each new generation of nazis likes to try and separate themselves from the previous generation of nazis but birds of a feather oppress together . Separate is not equal you spiteful bitch .

  • Fat bitch is so closed minded...

  • MARRIAGE ISN'T A CIVIL RIGHT'S ISSUE!!! IT'S NOT A GOVERNMENT ISSUE!! IT'S A LOVE ISSUE!!! A GOD ISSUE!! NOT AN ISSUE FOR ANYONE ELSE TO DECIDE!!!!!!

  • It breaks my heart that people are cheering for this woman...

  • Why the hell do people bang on about 're-defining' marriage when really it's just a case of enhancing what to many people is a 'beautiful institution'? Personally,I can't think of anything worse than being joined at the hip to one person, but that's just me.

  • I don't know why gay people aren't happy with Civil unions and registered partnerships? No men really want to get married......it's just to keep the women and priests happy.

  • The Re-douche- ians need to grow up, and stop telling everyone how to live their own lives. Truth is, the re-douche-ians are for up your butthole government.

  • "It's not discrimination to treat different things differently"

That's exactly how one justifies discrimination throughout history and it always cracks me up when educated conservative women forget that if it wasn't for liberal ideals ending sexual discrimination, they would not be educated!

  • They keep saying we cannot not "redefine" marriage... but who defined it in the first place? The bible? Sorry to tell you, but I am not religious, therefore the Bible is of no importance to me... Oh wait, why am I arguing, Canada already has same-sex marriage.

  • I have never seen animals get married?...anyone anyone?

  • I want to kick Miss Piggy in the face

  • when will polygamy will be allowed?

  • @ahmadaz96001

Polygamy is already allowed. There are no laws (at least federal) that prohibit multiple people from entering into a marriage that is recognized in their own religion.

Civil marriage is about two people entering into a legal contract.

  • @bearchewtoy75 Yeah everyone know polygamy is recognized by religion. Even an idiot knows that.

The problem is with the state level. Why cant the government recognize plural marriage as they recognize gay marriage? What's the problem when there's consent on each party involved?

  • Search "Straight Talk on Gay Marriage".

  • @brianh406 hsuband and husband, i am sorry but that completely weird and wrong. And yes, if we allow gay marriage then we have to allow any consenting adults no matter how weird the relation may be. btw, u insulting me shows how intolerant you are to people different positions. take ur civil unions, and leave marriage alone pls.

  • @Justiceispeace Sense when has "separate but equal" ever worked in America? If marriage and civil unions are equal than why don't we give straight couples civil unions too?

  • @Justiceispeace Your position is to use the law to make judgements and rules over other people. Your position is awful and terrible for human rights, so of course people aren't going to be tolerant of that. If you don't like gay marriage, then don't get gay married.

Don't try to use the law against others and then cry intolerance. What a joke.

  • @Top3channel Since when marriage is between two people not specific gender, of course marriage is between a man and a woman, it was created mostly because of children. stop being rediculous, you have civil unions that give you all the rights, why do you want marriage, husband and husband, so weird. i know gays who are against gay marriage.

  • Man i just dont understand this world sometimes

  • @brianh406 consenting couples, not consenting groups, so you are descriminating against groups who want to marry, they are in love and they are adults, it's their right, that sounds like your argument, good for you not good for others. civil unions give you all the rights, why pushing for marriage??

  • @Top3channel why is it between two people, how about two women want to marry the same man, they love each other, it is love and they are free adults..... the point is if we follow how about, we will lose order in this society, it is already a mess....

  • @Justiceispeace

Why don't you head on downtown and try to marry two people instead of changing the subject?

  • 1:11 - 1:27

I think that what is truly important is that the parents are not abusive, and that they provide their child(ren) with food, clothing, shelter, an education, love, and support. This can be accomplished regardless of the sexes of the parents.

  • @Top3channel Ok, thanks for clarifying. =)

  • @Top3channel That makes no sense. If you are married in the eyes of the law, you have a civil marriage. If you have a marriage ceremony in a church, you have a religious marriage. Most people do get both, and more and more people these days are just getting civil marriages. And in states where civil gay marriage is banned some churches still allow gay couples to have a religious marriage in their church.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 said, "...churches still allow gay couples to have a religious marriage in their church."

That is true. There are Churches that welcomes Gays, and Gay Marriage, and that's their religious freedom to do so.

  • @jusitke07 Yeah, some churches do and some don't. Every church has the right to define religious marriage how they want to. What they don't have the right to do is control civil marriage (which is marriage recognized by the law) because that is unconstitutional.

  • As Justiceispeace has already mentioned, not allowing gay marriage is unconstitutional and a violation of the first ammendment. It is imposing the religious standards of one group onto all, and unless we want to live in a completely theocratic society, such laws can not exist. Not to mention that different religions have a different standard on what marriage is, why is it ok for one to impose its standard on another?

  • @dragonzeyez3 not to mention that even if gay marriage were legalized nationwide, that would NOT trample on anyones religion. A christian would STILL be able to marry and divorce by christian standards if they saw fit, that would not change.

  • @dragonzeyez3

    Well said!! :D

  • gee she is saying seperate but equal - DUMB

  • If I want to marry a man from another country, he should AUTOMATICALLY become a US citizen, just like heterosexual marriage.

  • I don't get it, gays claim to be different then they want same things as heteros. To me, civil unions answer their needs to have equal rights, why marriage??? Should we also legalize polygamy and incestuous marriages? rediculous..

  • @Justiceispeace It's "ridiculous" and you are clearly VERY ignorant. They don't claim to be "different" they are just trying to show who they are, much similar to a model or to a basketball player. Expression is the reason we are human, deal with it. It is oppression, and nothing you say can change that, you leptonic troglodyte.

  • @zacktillery what is ignorant here, you gays are just out of control. why is it civil unions not enough for you? marriage was created to protect the unity of the family (children), it is between a man a woman bc they can reproduce. Period.

  • @Justiceispeace "you guys" ? What does that mean? I'm not homosexual, yet i'm not a complete intolerant FUCKING ASSHOLE like you, who likes to suppress other people, and try to justify it by laws. At one point in time, there were laws that said a slave was 1/3 a person. Are you sticking by that law too? Don't bring that ignorance and intolerance around here, because you just make yourself look like a complete jackass and uneducated lepton. Oh, and check this video out. /watch?v=yMLZO-sObzQ

  • @Justiceispeace so a gay man should have less rights than you?....because you def make sense...

  • @Justiceispeace why don't you go stone more homosexuals with your quran and allah in wherever Crapistan. Islam is evil and I shit on it. The US should ban the burqa just like in France. Thank goodness that Danish cartoonist drew a picture of muhammed, because I make one of that child molester as often as I can. Being gay is NOT a choice, but believing in a freaky religion that is a scourge on humanity is.

  • @capitanzach you are sickening, that is all.

  • When are people going to finally get over it?

The problem with gay marriage equality is there is no problem.'

Stop embarrasing the USA. We're socially retarded and need to grow up already!

  • @thursdaysrecords1 why cant people just see every one as a human!

straight, gay, bi, pan or transexutly

    we all have hearts

  • If they allowed same sex marriage it wouldn't change anything in a straight persons life, the only thing it would change is there would be A LOT MORE HAPPY PEOPLE out in the world. Why is it so hard to give some one their true rights?

  • This woman is a disgusting and awful human being.

  • I do not believe it is wrong nor do i believe gays adopting is wrong but i do have a problem with homosexuality being shoved down our throat like some MUST accept it, end of the day some will accept and some wont and i cant stand gay men who behave like girls, such attention seekers, their the reason why some people hate gays. Cant stand anyone who has the attitude ''look at me, look at me'' sooooooooo annoying. Gay men like elton john, will young ect humble people i dont care about.

  • @smellyfeet35 what about gay men like niel patrick harris?

not all of us are attention seekers, by that same aspect i can watch jersey shore and say that i hate straight people because you douchebags are annoying -_-

but it is not true is it?

als what if somebody wakjed up to a black guy and said that he didn't accept him?! i gaurendamntee you that he would fight for acceptance and equil rights just as hard, because it is not his choice to be black, nor is it ours to be gay!

  • @smellyfeet35 Well for the most part I can't stand overly effeminate gays and I'm gay. But I do obviously accept and tolerate them. They are just acting the way they were born and I have no problem with that.

  • @MsGreatescape89 So Marriage is religious huh? Well what of your thoughts about the churches that celebrate Gay Marriage? I thought so...respect religious freedoms of those churches that include Gay Marriage, end of story

  • How does baby-making define a marriage? My dad got 9 kids by 7 different women. As far as I am concerned, it should be illegal for him to have sex, let alone be given a right that I don't have because my partner nor I can have babies. My parents weren't even married. Hell, my dad cheated on my mom and my step bro and I are two days apart with different moms. I think it's funny how dumb some ppl in our society are.

  • GAY MARRIGE IS WRONG AND DISGUSTING. WHY WOULD A GUY WANT TO PUT HIS PENIS IN ANOTHER MANS SHITTY ASSHOLE FUCKING GROSS!!!!!!!!!!

  • @slash2jimi How old are you?

  • @Nekomedikia YOU WANT TO FUCK?

  • @slash2jimi Because that's what he loves just as a woman wants to take her hand and shove it all the way up another chick. It's what they are attracted too just like heterosexuals.

  • @slash2jimi this is pure ignorance, first of all it is not all about sex, we genuinely love each other, second of all we are merely attracted to what we are attracted to, in my opinion putting it in a pee filled area is disturbing, but i love women (sorry girls, not in a sexual way) all the same. It is none of your business to be honest and the fact that you care so much only shows that you are misserable and want to feel supperior to somebody else (via denying rights)

  • I love Gavin Newsom

  • ' It is not discrimination to treat different things differently'...So if I were to tell her, that in my opinion obese people with no necks should not be married, because the are giving an unhealthy message to our children "That it is ok to be obese'....I am not discriminating?? People ranting against gay marriage are always the people who haven't got one fuck to do with it and just can't mind their own business!

  • @gyqz haha, i was thinking the same thing. Isn't it sad how easily these peoples arguments are turned on them

  • @619stanley You are right, but they don't see it because they are living in this VERY small world called hatred and prejudice.

  • @gyqz so you disagree with having separate bathrooms for men and women then?

  • @UltraProle21 I'm sorry, but if like to compare a marriage to going to the toilet...that is your problem!

  • @gyqz but separate bathrooms are "separate but equal" and everyone seems to be ok with it.

  • @UltraProle21 You would have had a point there, if it wasn't for toilets not being human.

  • @gyqz but humans are, and males are not allowed in female bathrooms, and vice versa. nice try. logic clearly isn't your strongsuit.

  • @UltraProle21 Logic isn't my strongsuit?

1: Separate bathrooms are only used in public places and a marriage is everything except public...It is only a matter to those getting maried!

    2. What do you call your logic, if you keep comparing an inanimate thing like a toilet stall to real live marriage.

    3. Do you go to a separate bathroom at home, because people need to be 'separate, but equal?

  • @gyqz dude, either you're really dense or really desperate. i'm not comparing a toilet to a marriage. schools are public, by your thinking, separate schools for blacks and whites are ok.

  • @UltraProle21 Did you forget to take your meds, or am I typing things I can't read??? Or are you just another American who thinks : ' You either think like I do or you are the enemy'? If you really understood my first comment, you would have pick up on me being totally against 'separate but equal' and I don't give a fuck into what bathroom you go.... Ever tried to understand what you read??

  • @gyqz haha i'm glad to see you've acknowledged that you've lost the argument. you got owned.

  • @gyqz Um, excuse me, but hi. I'm gay and I don't support gay marriage. I'm not the only one either. Please don't assume to represent something you don't seem to fully understand. There are lots of levels in this debate and only looking at one just makes you come across as ignorant.

  • @LeBaoBeatha I am not representing anybody or anything, but not supporting and and standing in the way of, are 2 different things!

  • @gyqz I do not support gay marriage in that I don't want to see the word redefined and millions of people being forced to swallow acceptance when they're simply not ready. Forcing an act when it's not necessary will only breed hate. And believe me, it's not necessary for the damn word to be redefined. Marriage is for heteros. We have all of the same rights and responsibilities legally that they do with civil unions. It's not separate. It's simple.

  • Marriage is nothing more than a commitment. Procreation is nothing more than procreation. Outside of religion, the 2 have nothing to do with the other, regardless how babies are made.

  • I hate it when people use the argument "homosexuals can't make babies", have they never heard of insemination and such methods? And to that they would probably come with the argument that those methods are not natural. Just like their cars, glasses and more are not natural.

  • ABOMINATION

  • @MsGreatescape89 There are two types of marriage, civil marriage and religious marriage. Civil marriage is controlled by the government, religious marriage is controlled by churches. Churches have no right to control civil marriage because that would violate the first amendment, and the government has no right to control religious marriage because that would violate the first amendment. So your religion may be against gay marriage, but your religion has no right to control civil marriage.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 I completely agree. Those who are a part of a civil union should have every right and responsibility that married couples do. Simple as that. I only want the name to not change. It's just a name to most people, but to Christians(and other religions) it's representative of the ceremonial aspect of a union. To redefine it would mean a lot to them. All legal matters relating to marriage should be afforded to gay couples as well.

  • @LeBaoBeatha You totally miss understood what I said. I said gays should have the right to a "civil marriage" not "civil union". A civil marriage is legal marriage that straights already have and gays should have, a civil union is separate but equal which has never worked.

Tell me how allowing gays to have a civil marriage changes other people's marriages and affect religious people.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 I just told you how it would effect some straight people. I'm not the one who seems to have misunderstood the other.

  • Comment removed

  • @misswhitegrape0225 No you didn't. You just said it would mean a lot to them. But if same-sex marriage doesn't affect them, than it is none of their business. What if your personal decisions mean a lot to me? Does that mean I can make them for you?

  • @misswhitegrape0225 It's not a personal decision when it comes to redefining a term which several people view with regard to ceremonial religious aspects. To take it so flippantly would be to trample on other people's freedoms. There are indeed two different parts of marriage; the legal, and the ceremonial. It is fair and legal to give gay couples the same rights. It is wrong though, to force others to accept your ideology when it goes against their doctrines to marry you.

  • @LeBaoBeatha Does my decision to merry someone of the same sex effect other people? If not, than it is a personal decision. When blacks got the right to go to school did that redefine school? When women got the right to vote did that redefine voting? Allowing gays to merry will not redefine marriage. How does my decision to merry take away other people rights? Gays should have the legal right to merry, but churches can choose not to hold same-sex marriage ceremonies.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 Nope. It doesn't. As long as you don't use the word "marry" it doesn't effect anyone else at all. If you do, then we have to change the meaning of the word to include two men and two women as well. And of course there is a massive number of people who don't want the definition changed. It's perfectly reasonable considering that all legal aspects of marriage can be arranged for in documentation before a civil union as well.

  • @LeBaoBeatha How is using the word "merry" to describe a same-sex unions going to effect others? You have yet to explain that. Yes, there will be a massive number of people that don't want gays to merry, but there were also a massive number of people who didn't want Linda Brown to attend the white school. Does that mean segregation should have continued? And civil unions will not work. When has separate but equal ever worked in America?

  • @misswhitegrape0225 You've just been ignoring every point I've made. First of all, it's "marry" not "merry." Stop using the wrong word. Second, yes I have explained that. Using the word MARRY to describe unions between both heteros and gays is incorrect, just like your use of the word "merry." Christians view this word as a description of something special and a gift from god which was meant to be between man and woman. Changing the definition would personally affect their ->

  • -> Churches and sect doctrines in that they would have to alter certain aspects of their documentation to specify whether or not they support, whether or not they condone ceremonies, how those ceremonies would be held, and not only that. It would change education as well. Have you not read about the King and King case involving David Parker? Parents were stripped of their parental rights in the name of tolerance. As you can see this issue DOES impact couples, and their children.

  • @LeBaoBeatha Well excuse me for making a typo. I suppose you never make typos.

-"Using the word merry to describe unions between both heteros and gays is incorrect, Christians view this word as a description of something special and a gift from god which was meant to be between man and woman" That is just your opinion, not a reason to ban same-sex marriage.

Explain to me how it will personally effect them. Will they get forced to merry someone of the same sex?

  • @misswhitegrape0225 Oh no, I make typos. All the time. It's just that I went out of my way way to put the correct spelling in quotes for you multiple times and you still choose to use the wrong word. You did yet again in your last post, which makes me think you're just trolling.

"Explain to me how it will personally effect them."

I JUST DID. See the last post I made? It explains CLEARLY how it affects church organizations and families. You choosing to ignore me isn't my fault

  • @LeBaoBeatha You did not explain anything clearly. All you have said was that marriage is something that should be reserved for straights only, without providing a good reason why. So explain to me how it will affect churches and families. Will churches be forced to marry same-sex partners? Will people be forced to marry someone of the same-sex? Please explain to me how my marriage will affect others, and make sure your reasoning is based on fact and not just your opinion.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 AGAIN:

Church matters - Perry v. Schwarzenegger California courts rule that the teachings of some churches are "harmful" to the homosexual community. Ruling a church’s doctrine is harmful is just one step away from saying it’s illegal.

A church camp meeting association in Ocean Grove, New Jersey was sued because they refused to allow a same-sex wedding ceremony to take place in one of its facilities.

    -->

  • -> Churches in places like Canada have already been sued for preaching the doctrines against homsexuality, and some church leaders have even been arrested. "September 15, 2005 - Canadian Pastor Stephen Boissoin of Alberta is facing charges that he violated the country's Human Rights, Citizenship and Multiculturalism Act by publishing letters critical of homosexual conduct."

In Britain, it's not an isolated thing either. Multiple people have been jailed for merely speaking.

  • --> Families:

"If it is legalized, it must be taught as normal, acceptable and moral behavior in every public school.” Tony Perkins

In 2005 Massachusetts Parker family's kindergarten son was given a book about homosexuality in a “diversity book bag.” Courts ruled that they could not pull their child from any like discussion even if it violated their personal religious beliefs.

The same thing happened to a second family, the Wirthlins. -->

  • --> Their seven year old son came home after a teacher read his class the book, “King and King,” in which a prince falls in love with another prince. Courts ruled once again that these surprise lessons were mandatory and that they would not be allowed to simply opt their children out of them. The parents were also told that they would receive no notification either.

Strange, considering that it IS LAW that these parents receive notification AND possible opt-out. -->

  • -->

    "CHAPTER 71. PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Section 32A. Every city, town, regional school district or vocational school district implementing or maintaining curriculum which primarily involves human sexual education or human sexuality issues shall adopt a policy ensuring parental/guardian notification. ->

  • -> Such policy shall afford parents or guardians the flexibility to exempt their children from any portion of said curriculum through written notification to the school principal. No child so exempted shall be penalized by reason of such exemption."

Similar issues are rising in every same-sex marriage hot-spot state.

  • @LeBaoBeatha Perry vs. Schwarzenegger overturned proposition 8. The overturning of proposition 8 makes it possible for same-sex couples to one day legally marry. No where in that ruling did they say churches would be forced to marry gay couples.

That Ocean Grove, NJ camp was a PUBLIC camp ground, not a church. Tell me a case in America where a CHURCH was forced to marry a gay couple.

A pastor has every right to refuse to marry any couple for any reason.

    Try again.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 And you refuse to address the arrest and wrongful imprisonment of pastors, the plain and repeated violation of parental rights, and all of the statistics about child suffrage. Btw. In Perry v. Schwarzenegger, it WAS ruled that the Roman Catholic and Baptist church teachings of homosexuality as a sin were hate speech. I was not incorrect.

Nice try, but refuting one of my arguments wont make you right. That "public camp ground" was church owned.

  • @LeBaoBeatha I refuted both your arguments. Perry vs. Schwarzenegger over turned Prop 8, it did not ban churches from preaching what they want. And that camp ground was a public camp ground. Public means it has to be open to the whole public.

I don't refuse to address anything. I just don't have the time to reply to every single one of those comment. So just send me one comment at a time and I will address them one at a time.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 No it doesn't ban it. I never said that it did. I said that it labeled church doctrines as "hate speech" which it DID. Stop dancing around it.

Don't have enough time? You have all the time in the world my friend. I can't reply to a post you haven't made yet, which means you can take as long as you want to try and prove any of the arguments I've made wrong. I wont rephrase my argument YET AGAIN, just for your convenience. You asked me to elaborate, I did.

  • @LeBaoBeatha No one is trying to limit churches free speech, even if it is considered hate speech. So I don't know what all the fuss is about.

I'm not going to respond to all of those comments. That would just be a big head ache. You don't have to rephrase. Just copy and paste an argument or two in your reply. I don't care. Just I don't want to go though the head ache of having 10 different conversations with the same person on the same video.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 Are you serious? Do you have any idea how troublesome it was to sift through all that information and neatly compile it for you? Obviously not, because you insist that I do it again AND throw out most of what I wrote the FIRST time.

I will not cater to your whims. If you don't have the time to respond properly, then it's good enough the same as not having a response at all. Dealing with your willful ignorance gives me a sore spot as well.

  • @LeBaoBeatha I didn't ask you to type me 10 comments at once, you just did. I'm sorry but I have better things to do than search out and respond to all your comments. So unless you can give me a good reason to ban gay marriage or prove to me gay marriage personally effects others and churches, and type me one comment at a time, than move on. And just face it, you and your church have no right to tell me who to merry. If you don't like gay marriage, than don't get one.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 I'm sorry, but I just did. I provided you with more than enough factual evidence of it's effect on societies and individuals. Just because you don't want to spend your precious time reading my evidence doesn't mean it's irrelevant. Get over yourself.

For your information, I don't have a church. I'm not religious. Oh, and one other thing. I'm gay. So don't assume to label me when you have no idea who I am. And it's "marry," not "merry." Grow up.

  • @LeBaoBeatha I am not going to keep up with 10 different threads with the same person on the same video. It is a huge head ache. You are being ridiculous.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 Then don't. Read the 6 comments I made and formulate a retort. Something that doesn't include, "I'm too lazy to read, so summarize for me. Oh, and while you're at it, make me a sandwich."

I ask that you do the bare minimum that is required for a middle school level debate, and I'M the one being ridiculous? Please. Either respond or give up and stop bothering me.

  • @LeBaoBeatha This is not a middle school debate, this is youtube. I am not going to search out those six comments and respond to every single one of them, get over it.

  • @misswhitegrape0225 So this is how you deal with losing. Okay. It's understandable. I mean, it's not like you don't scroll past all of them lined up just above these last few comments every time you come back to say you won't respond. Right?

    Get over it.

  • @MsGreatescape89 That is utterly absurd.

  • What people think will happen if gays get married = OH MY GOD END OF THE WORLD WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE Whats really going to happen = Gays get married

  • @MsGreatescape89 marriage is not religious end of story

  • since marriages that create life are the only marriages that apparently matter, lets ban marriage for old people and sterile couples, too. in fact, you should have to sign a contract when you get married that makes you promise to create at least one life as a result of your union. in a country where 600,000 children are waiting to be adopted, it makes perfect sense to glorify marriages that produce lots and lots of babies.

  • @louib716 AMEN!

  • @MsGreatescape89 atheists get married. marriage is a legal matter, not a religious one (or at least it doesn't have to be religious).

  • It's wrong, wrong, wrong.

  • when 50% of all straight, church and state, marriages end in divorce, are you guys, that oppose it, really having any leg to stand on in this issue. thats like saying "dont let these stupid kids in our schools"....and you, yourself, not even finishing high school. gay people are people too, and they should have the same rights to love who they want to, and show it through marriage.

  • Certainly our BEHAVIORS are ordinarily our choice, but the issue is why would anyone in their right minds "choose" a lifestyle that invites persecution, hate, and harassments? Why? We're talking about a deepseated ORIENTATION or PREFERENCE toward the same or opposite sex, regardless of behaviors. A down syndrome didn't CHOOSE to be a mentally challenged, or a Heterosexual didn't CHOOSE to be Heterosexual, but undertakes certain BEHAVIORS to cope with the condition...
