The left one is the unfinished Chameleon (Rains bar, Scorpions sprite, Cham was supossed to colorfully and sprite/movefully switch between the ninjas. ) as far as i can tell.
OMG, I didn't know the SNES version had its own Chamaleon (I knew the one of the sega mega drive version). Did you try "Quick Finish" to see if he at least some finishing move or did you try to perform a Fatality on him?
So this Chameleon guy is a copy of Scorpion? Eh, what's with Midway/Williams doing all this copying of already used stuff in their Mortal Kombat games.
He was supposed to be Chameleon, the character that switches between all the male ninja characters in the Playstation version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy, but he wasn't finished for the SNES version of UMK3. He was also planned for Genesis as well but they never finished him either.
