I have spoken with several people from various Blogs about this company. The phone calls they are getting that is keeping them so busy is the dissatisfied customers like myself that purchased equipment from a local "dealer/distributor" that does NOT work. I am personally out $86,745 until I can get the three turbines I had installed working properly.

Beware PacWind. I paid them in full, over $8,000, for a turbine system nearly a year ago. They have lied to me at least 10 times about a due date and now will not even return my phone calls. I filed complaints with the California BBB and Attorney General's office and to date they have not responded to the agency inquiries. It looks like these scam artist have cheated me out of over $8,000. Do not let this happen to you. Don't say you haven't been warned.

Over the past 12 months PacWind has suffered a loss of four key employees, including several investors as well as of yesterday their general counsel. Word is that as usual the vertical axis turbine production numbers have been fudged or altered in a way to increase sales and distribution of a product that does not work well. Its a shame that PacWind cannot just own up to the false production claims, fix the product, then reenter the market when they actually have working models.

Pickens is an oil man, and a big supporter of Bush. He just wants to push this "green energy" of wind to get emanate domain on his side (with help from Federal and TX state government) to set up wind farms where he'll have land that also has WATER!!! This whole thing is about WATER!!!

Do the research. Oil billionares don't spend millions on an ad campaign to just make a little bit off a wind farm.

Odd that it is an 80 year old man that is making an heroic effort to lead the USA out of oil servitude. What have the various criminal USA governments done over the last decade to avoid this? There should be total outrage from the population, instead there is just resignation. I'm afraid that it's thoroughly rotten "at the top." USA politicians will do or say anything to get elected, even though they have nothing to offer the country. The political system will be the USA's downfall.
