It's funny listening to Peter Criss's drum solo here because it really, really good! He didn't get alot of credit for his playing because of his blues based rhythm playing but he was very instrumental in the original kiss sound! More technical players came after him in Kiss but his style to me was the most original for Kiss!

In my opinion, the only problem was, they performed during the day. In my opinion, knowing how much pyro they used, it "DIDN'T have the same impact like a KISS concert performed at NIGHT." But, other than, in my opinion, it was great seeing the original KISS at a sporting event!

@TheHappynot I think the reason, or one of the reasons, why Peter gets ridiculed/criticized as a drummer in Kiss, is because he was trained, BEFORE joining Kiss, as a JAZZ drummer, and not a HEAVY ROCK drummer. But because he was "willing to do anything to make it in 'showbiz'," he accepted Gene's "invitation" via telephone.

This isnt the Alive! concert. The Alive album was recorded over multiple dates in the summer of 1975. This concert is from January of 1976.
