Ex-Factors are the best. The P-Factor is okay from what I've heard, but nothing like the Ex. I was fortunate enough to pick up a '91 customs shop ex-factor for just under a grand on eBay recently. And bet you probably could too because people sem to be selling right now. Only thing is, make sure the guy didn't change the circuit board or anything. the guy I bought mine from wired it like a Les Paul and it has been hell trying to get it fixed, but it is definetley a great sounding bass

I think Vail's an amzing bassist, but he needs to get with some better performers. I'm sorry but Kenny G. is horrible. If he wants to play with a good saxophonist like Eddie Davis aka Lockjaw. Or if he would've been alive back in the day it would've been amazing to see him with Charlie Parker. But if you want to see an even better bassist look up either Jaco Pastorius or Victor Wooten.
