After reading both the Bible, Koran I can see why people are worried.
In summary christianity promotes respecting one another and forgiveness. However the Koran seems to promote a primitive clan like society, and in several places phrases such as "Kill the infidel (non-believer)" are common. I have several muslim friends who are sensible people, but they do not follow the koran word for word.
So I agree that the majority of muslims in Aus are fine, but you have to at least consider the rest.

However I do agree with you about that section of the bible, even in numbers 33, where moses commands the killing of the native people and the burning of religious items. Also in numbers 15 a man is stoned to death for collecting sticks on the sabbath.
I believe these passages are indeed very harsh, but detract from the main message rather than add to it.

happens all the time in sydney
usually its an arab or indian man dressed in muslim women clothes and the burqa they rob the bank and leave. you wouldnt even get into a bank here with a balaklarva on. thats my argument mate. the burqa is a serious security risk here its used to commit the same crimes the balaklarva is. your saying people should be able to wear whatever they like yet i cant even want into a government building or store with a bike helmet or a hood on.

I also respect all religions, and if a Jewish person always insisted on Koshur meat (also regarded as Halal), then I would totally understand that they value a certain level of cleanliness of meat.
