doctor who is so successfull becuase the show is always changing and it has a very flexible format to allow major changes while the core principles of the show remain the same. other sci fi shows are unable to do this becuase they have a very rigid format that doesnt allow any major changes to be done and if they are the show usualy falls apart due to those changes.
I think Colin Baker is wonderful! His Big Finish audios are the best (his voice has hardly changed at all). I think he has a great personality and who cares about how 'well' someone ages.
Peter Davison does sound older than his original Doctor, but I don't mind. It's still him: such a kind Doctor!
O I wish I would be able to visit the 2010 Time Quest Convention, where they will have Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy AND Paul McGann! Ah wel...
Peter Davison has aged well, and looks/sounds good. Tom Baker has also aged pretty well and looks and sounds pretty good. Colin Baker has NOT aged well at all. He doesn't even look like the same guy that played The Doctor. Kinda sad....
Peter sounds a lot older than the fifth Doctor, Colin on the other hand still sounds exactly the same as the sixth Doctor. Big difference when you're an audio fan.
@DeptOfLawEnforcement It's not the damn accents, it's the background noise or the quality of the video now that I liten, it's not that audible because of one of those problems or another. Adds an odd grainy noise to it all.

I think he's great too, he's got to be unfortunatly one of the most under rated doctors. Several of his Doctor Who episodes are in my top 20 list and I just love his audioplays. I wish I could meet him some day.
I met him today at a Doctor Who convention in Yeovilton, uk. He was signing pictures for people from when he was in Doctor Who. He's a very nice person and looks well. Shook his hand and got a picture done with him. Everyone was calling him Colin so when I went up I called him Doctor. Made him smile. He's a very nice person.
doctor who will remain a sci fi classic because there is no show like it on tv it is unique and will never be replaced or duplicated. and secondly it has a huge and growing fan base thanks to all you doctor who fans who help to make this show an ongoing success.
Colin Baker still looks great for 64. I think it's very rude that you put down a great actor and a great Dr Who just for being old, and only slightly overweight. If only all of us would be in such good a condition when we reach that age.
Was that Peter Davison at the beginning?

I don't know what Colin's doing now, but if a casting director is looking for someone to play Ben Franklin he'd be the man to call.

My gosh I had to look twice at Colin Baker. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was a different man.

Ah, but what about Frazer Hines! ;) One year older than Colin and quite a looker concidering that. Then again he always was, wasn't he..
But. All trivial appearances aside, may they both have many years to come. (Poor Pat Troughton..)
Interesting to see that clip.

@ReverseThePolarity As a fact being slightly overwieght at that age is considered by many a gerontologist as a sign of good health.
