NOBODY can get the harmonies and voicings he gets out of those Guild Starfire XII's and Ibanez Artist 12 string.Of course he rules on six string, but he originally was solely on electric 12 string with Gary Burton's band in the early 70's. Just concentrate on what he is playing on the 12 on all his early stuff and you'll be amazed at the beautiful and deep world he creates with them.
3:08 is a great solo, and of course metheny's great. never knew jaco played on bright size life till looking at pastorius's discography...
