I had the OAV on VHS back when I was 12 or 11. It had the first 2 OAV episodes! It was in japanese with english subtitles.I really like this opening.Everybody ruined that romantic moment for Ranma and Akane LOL XD. I'm watching the TV series right now since I never finished watching it.

Yeah, I rented this one from Blockbuster myself. It was one the windows open for me for non-mainstream anime.

It was also my first introduction to Shampoo.

Too bad this opening is only used for Desperately Seeking Shampoo and the Xmas special. =/

Not only is this my favorite opening but I love the OAVs in general for their more modernized style.

Not that the older episodes are bad or anything. But it's always good to watch animation/art improve over the years.
