Your sound is really shrill with a lot of high end. Personally I like a lot more low end. Oh ya, FYI I use the Metal Core petal also.

The beauty of this petal is that you can make it let loose of some amazing growling lows with sacrificing your highs.

On my amp I have the bass and mid EQ at 12 O clock, and the high at around 2 O clock. On my petal my low is at 1 O clock and high at 2 O clock with the distortion maxed!
