i saw this movie, and the movie was very nice and good story, all cast are good and very natural to act... after i saw it, my heart is aching because of pchy, i cant sleep for 2 days thinking of this, hope theirs a sequel of this movie... i started to cry when tong left in there house to move in chaingmai until the end of the story i cried... so from that movie im starting to be fan with them TONG (mario maure? MEW ( pchy? and the august band... hope you will visit here in the Philippines..

i'm studying their language now, because i love meow and tong so much. . ^^ even though i did not see the full movie but it tackles about same sex relationship, and being with the one you love no matter what gender is beautiful, but here in the phil, full of criticism, i pity those being criticism because they loss some of their confident. i hope soon they accept the fact that gays/lesbians no matter what gender is still human being and should be respected. .

@flowerbookful i think abs-cbn might hesitate to air this because of the kissing scene. it was torrid after all. though it seemed not nasty at all but pinoys can sometimes get so friggin narrow minded!!! ..if they are really to air this, they might cut or edit the kiss scene.

I'm guessing family and society. Thats always the biggest case. Besides having an official boyfriend is a very big thing. When Tong said: 'I can't be with you as your boyfriend but that doesn't mean I don't love you' it really covers the 'as long as you love there's still hope' quote and viewers can still cling on to the hope that Tong and Mew will be together but only time can tell. Jeez gay movies are so complicated haha but thats why i love them. The deep meanings =]

I love this movie too, but I' , quite confused by the ending, I'm not sure whether Tong loves Mew but can't be with him (and why not?), or Tong did love Mew but he change his mind after all this happened ? Hope someone can answer me.

Tong does love Mew. But I believe he does not want to do something that may deteriorate his family. His sister was gone and his father has been through alcoholic disorder. So, in his mind, he may want to make sure that he will not create any more problems to his Mom and his family.

I actually have a similar answer like yours but a vague one: his family, but then I think his mother had withdrawn quite a lot, still he needs his family to be reunited, so he choose family over love. I guess I just need some other people to stand by the positive thought: Tong DOES love Mew. We can still imagine their reunion happening someday.

actually it's up to us, to continue the whole story. the story is already finished. the story is all about hope. based on the ending of the movie, the director really wanted the audience to use their imagination, on how each and every person will END the story.

I saw this movie when I was in BKK. I don't normally go to the movies when I am on a trip but this was recommanded by a friend of mine who told me that I must see this movie. I did and I am so glad that I did. The movie is about two teenage boys dealing with their family, social lives and most importantly their feeling for each other. It is not gay love story. It is about love between boy and girl, boy and boy. I recommend to see this movie to all.

wow, you were really lucky to have watched it in Bangkok. and I have to agree that this not really a gay movie(well, partly... hahaha), but a movie of true love. no matter what the gender of the person is, as long as you love him/her.. then it can still be called love. this is a masterpeice, because most movies with gay theme put sex scenes to make it appealing. but this movie didn't need that to amaze its audience. really great!!!
