@langilleable while i do enjoy the change up of pace as a personal rendition of what he wants from the song, the song on the whole is supposed to convey strong emotion, mainly sadness, and imho this version fails to convey that. i recently played through the game again, and the emotion this song relays at the beginning of the ending when yuna passes through tidus and she finally realizes that he is going to be gone, god, its priceless.
