I agree he is one of the most underrated players in the league but I don't think he's better than Ovechkin. He may have been leading his team in hits (i'm sure he's not even close to doing so now) but besides that he hasn't done shit in the playoffs while Ovechkin and Crosby are tied for first in points with Malkin following them while Datsyuk sits at 75th.

AO is good, and taking shots means only 1 thing... you were taking shots. If a team has 0 shots, do you think they can win? Getting shots is important, it tires goalies out and it means that you have the puck in their zone. And one player cannot take their team to the stanley cup, it is a team effort. AO can score 900000 goals, but if he has nobody else and no goalie he will for sure lose every game.
