@heyeveryoneimcool Precisely. I felt that CiV focused too much on the graphics and not enough on the actual gaming aspect. It got rid of the Stack of Doom we've come to love and adore. When I played the original Civilization, though, I found it was the absolute best of them all. I tend to like the old, 8-bit games better: the graphics have to suck, so you need to make an actually good game. I don't care about the graphics, anyways.

This video is amazing. I recently got Civ 4 for the first time and when I played it, I adored Nimoy's narration. It just really feels like you are in school or something to hear his voice.This video is great too, though it feels like there should be a video here instead of a bunch of pictures.

@StoanPhrogg well i never played the first one but it sounded very simleir. even with eh MIDI songs. I also think you can hear some of the WE HAVE RESEARCHED (X) in the first one when you meet Ceaser in civ4.

@supeerme The theme sounds the same but instead of it being played by a PC Squeaker or an Amiga Midi synthesizer it sounds like it is a recording from an orchestra that played it. My hat goes off to this intro the best of the 5 Civs in my opinion. Wheras I didn't like Civ 5 much, crashed loads, the characters don't move (worse than Civ 1 IMO) and why can't I stack units anymore? Just out of interest I think they skipped over the bit between fire and meteors and the primordial soup.
