  • It's wicked,excellent I love it

  • if you are the one who reviewed Strong's tavern----and posted it on

Cityview.....take my word for it-------you write like an idiot.

  • Not sure about that drumbeat!

  • Upon further research it seems the featured car is a 1952 Chevrolet convertible. Google pictures of this model and you will see that the front grill, hood ornament, front wheel opening, door handle, and rear fender trim all match up.

  • i have to sing this for qrire

  • We're playing this for our jazz concert. since it's jazz, i have to play trumpet 1. and i play clarinet so its easy

  • Someone asked what kind of car the Bugle Boy was driving. A total Chevy enthusiast could tell you for exactly and for sure, but I do know that the convertible is a 1950-3 Chevrolet Bel Air. I also believe the copper color might have been an original color choice.

  • I think that you'll find that it's a straight eight Buick. I had a quality toy wind up one in the late fifties, still got it. The key was in the shape of a traffic cop.

  • I have to say that this is my favorite version of this song. Does anyone know the name of the group who is singing?

  • Yip I agree, bette has a great version of this. But this ladies are a cool 2nd. I like it. Who are they?

  • nah this is different...bette middler was much better....her version is timeless. even simon cowell would slate this haha. although im not saying its bad, just that bette midlers is better

  • This is much better than anything Bette Midler can do, The beat is hot and the singers are great, Can someone tell me the name of this band or group?

  • It's all "synched" -- they're all actors pretending to sing and play.

Bette Middler actually sings, as did The Andrews Sisters.

  • Noticeable. The dancing is slower than the beat of the song, lags behind.

  • well,those are mediocre singers...

  • What is the name of the group that sings this, and I am talking about the Andrews Sisters

  • I mean not talking about the Andrews sisters

  • It's a group called Company B from Miami Florida. It was recorded in 1989.

  • this is hot!

  • nice to remix with Madonna's Hanky Panky....

  • i like this version better. Its better to jive to

  • Five Stars great performance, awesome and thank you for posting this video.

I agree the Andrew Sisters were excellent, but thanks for posting this.

  • The Andrews Sisters are rolling in their graves.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed it... A nice tune to mark Veterans' Day... Thanks for sharing...

  • This is the best performance of this tune I've ever seen and heard! Wonderful tune to start with, but this is incredible! It's hard to believe it was produced twenty years ago. Awesome!

  • To bbtrpt1....why don't you guys get together and record this again and market it. It is SOOOOO hot. It's not just the song. It's your group's fabulous performance of it.

  • this is so hot, because of the boys. the girls are hot too.

  • Company B girls are smokin hottttttt especially in those 'uniforms' ...lol

  • I listen to this every day. It is an incredibly upbeat happy tune that really makes me feel good. Fabulous.

  • I haven't seen this in 20 years. I am actually the trombone player in the video. We shot this at the Opa Locka Airport in Miami in 1989 or 1990 (can't remember). It was a fun day and good times!

  • Congratulations. This is a fabulous piece. I listen to it every day.

  • What a great video! The original era was when music was music! Great production. Great remake. The Andrew Sister would be proud. I love the Swing era, the brass, and the beat.

Hard to believe this was 20 years ago. I am along the lines of what another person said, "More shirtless soldiers!" Phew! Hot bunch. Who is the lead trumpet (passing as the bugle boy) who looks more like a dancer than an actual horn guy? Oh, my word, those hips! Someone - please hose me down!

  • Does this group have any other performances? This is fabulous.

  • good on you! love it. beautiful women, beautiful men. btw, where is that boogie woogie bugle boy now?

  • No idea, but if you find him, please give him my phone number!

  • FANTASTIC, GREAT, AWESOME!!! My boyfriend and I absolutely love this...

We play it every morning when we get up. We call it "The Rousing Rendition". I would love to have this on mp3.

  • god this is so awful! but it's great!

  • Sometimes the music drowns out the voices of singers, albeit only momentarily. Nonetheless, it's distracting. Whomever mixed this recording could stand some supervision or further training.

  • I watch it at LEAST once a day - it's SOOO brilliant an update of a classic - MORE....

  • OH MY GOD THIS SONG IS AWESOME!

  • Just played this video 3 times in a row ...

    what a great performance.

Always puts a smile on my face.

    Thanks again for posting!

  • this version sucks

  • Let's hear YOUR version?

  • i am talking about the orginal version by the andrew sisters...this is all 80's styled out

  • Anyone know the MAKE and YEAR of the RED Convertable?

  • CANDY MAN!!CANDY MAN!!gezz that trumpet solo sucked

  • this song is really cool and whenever i try to sing it i mess up these girls were talented!

  • I did find an MP3 of it on imeem. It's on their Gotta Dance album.

  • Still waiting for this song to be posted somewhere as an mp3! it's great!

  • I have the promo CD! My brother was a DJ and gave it to me. Woo-Hoo to see the actual video for it.

  • Is that Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats on bass?

  • to slow...

  • this year in 9th grade we get to sing this!! its in chior! im sooooooooooo excited!

  • Does anyone know who is performing this great version of a great song???

  • Company B. the girls who did "Facinated" dance song

  • hey how is that old, please?

  • This is one of the BEST EVER music videos...Thanks for posting this!!!

  • this just rules ! It ROCKS. Dance on

  • was just watching apple blossom time, thought i was reading comments on that tune, my bad

  • the song was written in the 20's, the andrew sisters recorded it in the 40's, so use the word "original" with more caution

  • Just sooo cooool

  • This is a fantastic arrangement of a great song. I love the Andrews Sisters original of it, and I love this updated version. Kudos.

  • Adore this version. Wow!!

  • i can not found this version from company b, there is one it lasts 2.56 minutes but it is not this version ...sombody have it ?????

  • Personally, I think The Andrews Sisters would be really flattered by this, it's excellent.

  • The Andrews sisters, with all due respect, had the production standards/values of their day to deal with....and no better than that.

This is, in my opinion, as good as you are gonna get. Any where....any time.

Drags the 'ol 40s anthem up into the 21st century in a slick swing/dance format.

Hey Company B, How about something By Labelle or the Supremes?

  • Wow.I disagree that the original was better. This one is addictive. The Andrews Sisters had a lot of personality, but they didn't have the production values, the jazz riffs and the beat that make this one special. I would love to see Company B update a few other classics (maybe Smokey Robinson's "Shop Around" or Ray Charles' "What'd I Say").

  • this version has a better, more updated beat to it. I agree with you, they should update the classics, especially Ray Charles songs.

  • Magic, mix it with Candyman amd it sounds great!

  • i do a solo to bugle boy and i like the old version a whole lot better

  • Nothing can beat the original. I wasn't trying to compete, just honor the song and the Andrews Sisters. I could have done it just like the original but what would be the point?

  • Definitely not as good as the original Andrews Sisters version, but this is still really well done!

  • I thinks its better, Its more update and the music sound better, Listen to the old one, it sounds to old and music sounds old, this one is so much better and updated.

  • Is this vid available for itunes download? - Could definitely boost a lot of spirit and tug at the heart strings of many to carry this awesome piece everywhere you go!

  • This is a bit slow----for the dance form----but it works out superbly!

    It's a JITTERBUG, people!

Same form as George Michael's rendering of "Jitterbug"

    Martin the Musicology God

  • Makes me want to unhook the headphones at the public library here and rock the place. This is a small rural town, so what would they do??

May be worth a try. . .Lol

And the company jumps. . .

This video is great. Love it. A favorite, always will be.

  • Wow, major shift from the 80s dance/pop sound of "Fascinated".

  • i love it

my friends and i are singing this @ our chourus concert as a trio

  • yes we are and we r going to rock it

  • we had to sing this as a part of our concert in school, and everyone had a blast with this one!

  • this version's awsum... gets stuck in ur head lol

haha i love that guy's dancing at 2:15...

  • great video. Not andrews no´r bette Midler never the less... damn good.

  • not Bette Midler??? at least this is a serious attempt at music--and a damn good one. Is that comedy that Midler does with this song??

  • This is too cool. True to the original, but updated. Great version, incredible. They knew how to jam in the 40s. So much of the Big Band and swing music is overlooked today, but we would have no Elvis, or rock and roll without it having preceded it.

This video is great. One of my all-time favories. Damned cool.

  • More shirtless soldiers, please.

  • hey you guys....now this ain't TOO bad! IT WILL NEVER BEAT THE ANDREWS SISTERS VERSION!but for a modern version it's pretty good! so i'm definitely not knocking it people, but the harmonies aren't as good as the original(and don't forget the andrews sisters were REAL SIS'S) BUT OK.... I LIKE IT!.well done all involved.

  • I second that - this was the first video on youtube listed under my favorites and I just can't get enough. I play over and over everytime I log on - wish this video was available for purchase or download. The song and video are AWESOME!

  • Hell, I'd buy this in m minute. I wish I could play this on a real audio system. The speakers in my headphones cannot possibly be doing this justice. same with the video and my laptop screen. I can't get enough of it. Which girl is singing which part? Amazing

  • I'll see if I can post it somewhere as an MP3. It's from the second Company B album. Lori, (long hair) is singing the middle. Julie (Short hair) is singing the top and Donna (dark girl) is at the bottom and ad libs. This was them singing. Ish.

  • I'd love to get a copy of this as an MP3. Great song. Thanks for posting it.

  • Did you ever post it anywhere as an MP3?

  • Somebody please tell me where I can get a copy.

  • Too much--wish I could e-mail this to every US soldier in Iraq & Afganistan--

  • why?

  • I love it! Even more energetic than the original version! :D

  • I'm crying.....awesome job !! Great update of an absolute classic ! Great music never dies.......

  • I love this. I think the Andrew sister's would too. Does anyone know the names of the girls, the background band, dancers etc. Are they all 20 years older now??? What a great remake!

  • The video was played in a club. That was about a year ago,so glad it was downloaded to youtube. Its just great makes my feet jump around. What a video, just what you need after work.Happy

  • Where are the "big-ass" white wigs and the North Beach Leather outfits?!!

Company B was a terrific group!

    Thanks for posting...

  • Wow a modern remake of the classic that had me tapping my toes. Good work ladies!

  • the beat is awsome!!!!

  • i remember singing this song in school, first grade...nice remake :)

  • a very wonderful remake of a classic song

  • Superb.

  • Wow! fantastic!

  • Pretty hot : )

  • Wow!!! what a song, what a beat!!!! makes you wana jump......

  • Pretty cool :)

  • I think Patty, Maxine, and Laverne would approve. Great remake of a great classic!!

  • Good updated version, love the video!

  • I love the brass in this song,a classic favorite!!

  • A classic never goes out of style.

  • Awesome !!!!

  • I knew these girls made this cover song!!!!!! I thought I was hallucinating! Thanks for posting, man, you've given me back my sanity.

  • Actually, the cover song was done by the Andrews Sisters in the mid 1940s. It's actually better than this, but this one isn't bad.

  • This band, Company B has been around a long time! I remember listening to this back in 1990-91..was big on the club scene. Their other big hit (club scene, also) was the song "Fascinated." I think these two songs were on the same CD. Bette Midler has a great version of this classic , too. Not to take anything away from Christina! I think it is great that she has paid homage to the big band sound! She has a great voice for this type of music! Thanks for posting this video!

  • they had 2 more hits also full circle and perfect lover

  • you can't compare this one to candyman there two different songs. and this one is a classic song!

  • This is a great video..needless to say a great old song too. Is this from a movie? I saw Aguilera'a candyman but I think this one's better.

  • I think this is great, Candyman is just very different. This is definitely an awesome song

  • I prefer candyman by far

  • Who cares "by far" if you prefer candyman. I dont. I like this better.

  • I had the cassette tape this song was on. I had no idea there was a video to this song. This is awesome????

  • I like it, CHristina Agulira (Sic) has dirty lyrics, I quote: "Makes the Panties drop"----"Makes my Cherry Pop"

  • I cant find this verison of this song =(

  • I cant this verison of this song =(

  • sounds like Candyman from Christina Aguilera

  • it's kinda true but if u think christina stole it she didn't.

  • the guy in the beginning is cute

  • Interesting cover of BWB. Pretty good, ... but the Andrew Sisters are far and above all who dare to do BWB. The costumes could be better. No hats? Matching skirts would be better than those shorts. Choreography at times is too risque for this WW2 standard imo. Don't need to sex up such a great tune to sell in jmo.

  • i luv this version. catchy!!

  • a great song!! i'll be listening 2 the andrews sisters version after this video. :)

  • YouTube is awesome ... I loved this song when it was out, but the only time I ever saw the video was on a video monitor in a department store at the mall one afternoon many many years ago. Now I finally get to see it again.

  • Nothing like their other work since it isn't freestyle. It isn't the same band members either.

  • i would say breathed life into a classic

  • Just love this. One of the jumpingest songs ever!

  • What an AWESOME song and video! Andrew Sisters would be proud of this remake. I am totally hooked on this video - a great pick me up any time of day. Wish I could take it anywhere I went. Thanks!

  • i love this special version of the Classic by a. sister, congratulations and special thnaks for sharing

  • aww...they killed a classic

  • XLNT version. Company B was a Dance/Freestyle group from the 80s that had hits with great songs like "Fascinated", "Full Circle" (my personal favorite), "Perfect Lover" and, of course this one.

  • WOW, I don't know who the group is but they're as good as I've seen doing B.W.B.
