There's a gold nugget like that here in NW OH that the gov shut down back in the late 70's do to tax probs! It's loaded with vintage muscle and older cars going back to the 40's! But they can not be touched! So sad!
That Camaro, poor baby! Why does this even happen? The 69 SS is worth a small fortune, but I'll admit I almost let mine rot away too, but I saved it and it started right up after a 19 year slumber. And now I've been driving it almost everyday.
69 Camaro... Toyota thing... Owen... Woman who gave me a ticket... Lincoln... Sticks... Ford.... Chevy... Favourite door ever... Beer Bottle... GMC Van... Dodge... Private Property Keep Out... School bus... Fenders... More than some old cars, I must say.
How is everyone so sure that the body is a 69 Camaro? It seems like someone just laid a 69 front-end in front of a firebird body or something. I'm just sayin cuz that body has Pontiac Rally Wheels.
@pwkid The front clip matches the body (look at the paint and rust) and has the camero insignia on it. As for the pontiac ralley wheel they will fit pontiac, chevrolet, buick, cadillac and oldsmobile. I'd say someone liked the looks of the pontiac wheel and put it on the camero.
Love the commentary...Im from oz...its so cool to here someone as young as you naming all those cars, young kids over here wouldn't even know our muscle cars from the 60's & 70's
This makes me so sad to see. These are cars and parts that someone could use ans restore. But no....some old man hoards the stuff or has delusions some day he'll fix it up.
those old junk yards are always an attraction :) we have a place here called 'you pull apart' where you can go in and get parts...I figured you would be covered in snow by now so I guess not.
The new owner at the yard is really cool, he wont crush any old cars, just the new stuff that no one cares about. He lets people go in there and take stuff that you want and sell it to you cheep. In back is all the 40s and 50s cars that were parked there when they were only 10 years old, next summer ill get out there and take another video.
that's great...I can recall a junkyard about 80 miles north of us...lots of great stuff and was I tempted but I was clueless...a few years back I restored a 78 land cruiser, bending 16 gauge steel...what a job...I made a vid showing pics of te beast :)
I was there in 1990 and then went back in 2008. Many of the same cars were still there. Just further sunk into the ground.

I hope you save the 59Chevy one day, ore one of the other 50`s -40`s cars.
I live in the south of Sweden, and here we put salt on the roads during the wintertime.
And its not good for the old cars.
So Swedish cars at the junkyards are in very bad condition.
And we don't have so many American car at the junkyards i Sweden .
