awesome song!! I believe it contains more synth elements than songs from their former albums, yet remains classically Franz Ferdinand-ish. Well done. It's also fairly easy to relate to this, esp when you're going through the end of a relationship, I think. In any case, it's a great song with a catchy tune and powerful lyrics.

its pretty obvious, the first verse clearly says that "love is always ruined by the bickering." Therefore, since he loves her so much, he would rather live alone so that his love for her won't be ruined by the bickering that arises in relationships. He ends by saying that he will always wish to be with her, but he must keep his distance. Of course this just my interpretation of it.

Thats easy too, its just that he can imagine himself talking about the problems of love with someone else because he feels the driver will be able to relate to them. Whenever you have an arguement with someone you usually want to bitch about it to someone, no matter who they are.
