I'm a guy and I just got goosebumps all over from listening to this. Your voice is so good in a unique way that makes it pure! I only hear your type of voice in famous singers. Kinda paused a couple of times, but those were intentional, and it's all good cause once you started again, it sounded perfect again. Why aren't you on American Idol? That voice is too beautiful to put to waste!

I think you need to strum harder...c'mon I want to hear the guitar, I'm sure you can play it well. Your voice is really pretty. It's a bit soft for a country, but maybe try singing into a microphone (or karaoke machine, even - just something to make your voice a little louder.)

Ma'am, please be aware that people on here are mostly teenagers and younger people, so they don't take too much time to perfect their spelling... The other thing I wished to say was that having a music degree doesn't always make you a good singer... it just shows you understand music pretty well and are musically intelligent.

If not for the slightly prideful attitude, I'd say you're a pretty good singer. Better than me, at least.

thanks so much. please look at my other videos. I really do know how to project my voice...I was just singing at my house which was really really crowded and I didn't want to disturb anyone. Do watch my other videos though...and thank you thank you thank you for the advice

HI. I've watched many people sing this, and I can honestly say you are not bad. You are car singing, though, and not using all of voice...keep practicing and try to sing louder and warmer. You should also open your mouth more.

Just some friendly advice that is postitive...I know what you mean with all the negativity, most of thos people would be too afraid to even sing!

P.S. You get better as you go through the song...so maybe it's nerves?

you need emotional and a stronger voice. trust me, i've been singing since i was about 3 or 4. i used to have a soft voice, but then when i was singing a practice solo at my church, they turned up the music really loud, so i had to be louder!!! its a good excersise, try it out.

I've been singing since I was 3 or 4. Look at my other videos. I've been singing in church since I was 11, and I have performed with some of the premier vocal groups of the south east on a college level. I'm singing softly because I live in a house full of girls..but thanks for your advice.

You should probably put more strength in your voice definitly. And also on some of the notes you're doing little slides. On parts it sounds good, but on other points it's a little too much, makes the song too complicated, ya know? But it sounds pretty good!
