the double wall is really the solution when u have more then one material for each wall and u need to insert the floor in between. thanks that was my solution. i tried all and it took me i wile to figure it out what i needed. thanks from a noob!
@zuluyu5 True, it is a good solution. If you use a compound wall, you can align the floor sketch to the outside of the studs, for example, and then join the wall and the floor. That will cut the floor out of the wall also.
