it IS in the right key... sort of, the sonic is in c-major and the MJ melody is in c natural minor, so they actually line up fine except for a few notes here and there

@LightRoll yeah, in theory that would make sense, however the thing is: the sonic is in C-major but almost all of the leading tones (B) in the melody and harmony are flattened (become B-flat), and the Bb may clash with A-minor. I guess this song is in more of a mode, C-mixolydian I think??? lol you got me all curious :P so I plunked out the melody in A minor on my guitar with the metropolis zone and it sounded fine, but I think I prefer this version!

I think it's the right key, its just a minor over a major... you should try autotuning it or something so MJ is singing in a major.
