You can see his left arm don't have full movement and he limps from his left side alittle too bad he had to suffer strokes and that at the end what killed him :(

His slight limp is actually the result of an accidental gunshot to his foot as a child, which nearly killed him.

No, actually after Curley had a stroke or two, they tried to have him come back. He is thinner in this. But in the last one they tried to have him play a chef, and he is so skinny, you wouldn't know it was him. But Moe and Larry pointed it out that it was Curley. And Moe and Curly's brother's name was Shemp, LOL!!

I always thought this was one of their underrated shorts, even though Curly's health was detetorating he seemed to be his old self in this Stooges short.

I agree with you, dude. I think Curly had a good week during filming of this short despite his health problems. I have heard that some fans don't like this short because of the scene where the stooges dress in blackface and sing a parody of Dixie.

This does seem to be one of Curly's best performances after his health started detetorating, this short has more of a 1944-45 feel to it rather than a 1946 short.

Are you serious? This was also one of the first shorts I've ever watched on WTBS back in the early 1990s, I sure wish AMC had played this short.
