At 1:36 the truck actually hits in to the brown board about 20cm away from the white board. On the next next scene where you obviously stopped the camera and pushed the car along to help it on it's journey it hits into the brown board much further up than where it originally hit.

It's a good effort and nice idea, but I think that the machine should accomplish something simple to be called Rube Goldberg machine (as stated by many before) and that you should practice the camera movement somewhat (it's a bit shaky and don't always follow the action, especially in the end with the baloon)

i don't think that's what they're getting at. at least, that's not my gripe. a goldberg is supposed to complete a simple task by complex, unneccesary roundabout ways, this was pretty linear. a ball fell down, and kept rolling until it hit a car, that also kept the same path, then popped a balloon. it's a nice start, but it's not something to impress. you can do a more impressive job with dominoes. keep working at it.
