@LAwlLawlL man hw wasnt chaining the bottomless so the solemn, heres was happend, player 1 attempted to summon mobius, player 2 attempts the negate summon with solemn, player 1 negates the solemn with his own solemn. then after that resolves mobius is actually summoned so player 2 chains bottomless to the SUMMON he doesn't chain it to the solemn judgment

I am going to say something first NOT regarding the Bottomless play. That was a damn good match!!!

And in regards to the Bottomless play, Robbie and all those who agree with him are correct. The Solemns stalemated, and bottomless is activated AFTER mobius hits the field. The play is good.

When the guy on the right summons Mobius, Robbie Activates Solem Judgment in response to the Summon. After the guy on the right activates his solemn to negate Robbies solemn, Mobius summon has gone through. Now Robbie is allowed to chain Bottomless to the Summon because it went through. its like the Solemn's were never there...

tele gadgets are actually very bad (i am talking about the deck itself, not the guy with the deck). the insufficient number of spells and traps really screwed this deck over when i tested it against glads.

Tribute to attempt to summon mobious, solemn starts chain link 1, mobius is not on the fiend yet, solemn is chained to the other solemn, allowing mobius to be summoned, mobious's on summon effect activates (this isnt part of the chain but its mandatory) selecting his new targets mobius destroys 2 cards, bottomless chains, and resolves in its own chain after mobius is SUCCESFULLY summoned.nuff said

Solemns had their little clash before Mobius was summoned. Once the solemn cancelled the solemn, THEN mobius hit the field, so Bottomless is in perfect timing to chain. He simply waited for targets first ( of course )

mobius is on the field after solemn resolves...and he said chain bottomless. he tried to do this in another one of his videos and his opponent said he couldn't. and i would love to see some proof or a ruling that says you can activate bottomless to a summon AFTER a solemn judgment resolves because that shouldnt be possible

@Zero2Legend Judgment attempts to NEGATE the summon. Bottomless takes place after the summon has been allowed. You need to know your yugioh terms in order to understand this.

Chain and responses are 2 different things. You cannot chain bottomless to anything because it is being activated AFTER the fact that the monster was summoned. That is why it is a response and not a chain. So when someone "chains" bottomless, they're wrong.

@mkohl40 Well, he's correct, you cannot CHAIN bottomless, but you can RESPOND to the normal summon of mobius, after solemn resolves of course. There is a summon negation window, and once that window has closed, there is then a summon response window, which then opens.

@liroyals7 Yes you can. Solemn is used to try to negate the summoning of the monster. If the monster's summoning is succesful (ie not negated by something like Solemn) then you can respond to the summoning with cards like Bottomless.

I beat this deck a few days ago with Banisher Of The Radiance and Fossil Dyna. It was a pretty good duel game 1, but game 2 and 3 he couldn't mill.

The bottomless was a legal move because the effect of judgment resolves and then the monster is summoned successfully therefore he can activate it cause its a different chain...
