it isn't a chain. the chain was to negate the summon so when the monster is summoned he activates bottemless the first chain isover.. in the other video he activated TT that doesn't negate a summon..
@JimmytheNoob If the Special Summoned psychic monster is removed from the field it is not Removed From Play by Emergency Teleport during the end phase...
@LAwlLawlL man hw wasnt chaining the bottomless so the solemn, heres was happend, player 1 attempted to summon mobius, player 2 attempts the negate summon with solemn, player 1 negates the solemn with his own solemn. then after that resolves mobius is actually summoned so player 2 chains bottomless to the SUMMON he doesn't chain it to the solemn judgment
I am going to say something first NOT regarding the Bottomless play. That was a damn good match!!!
And in regards to the Bottomless play, Robbie and all those who agree with him are correct. The Solemns stalemated, and bottomless is activated AFTER mobius hits the field. The play is good.
When the guy on the right summons Mobius, Robbie Activates Solem Judgment in response to the Summon. After the guy on the right activates his solemn to negate Robbies solemn, Mobius summon has gone through. Now Robbie is allowed to chain Bottomless to the Summon because it went through. its like the Solemn's were never there...
tele gadgets are actually very bad (i am talking about the deck itself, not the guy with the deck). the insufficient number of spells and traps really screwed this deck over when i tested it against glads.
@littlenooby Glads just enjoy the free tags off of Spies. You obviously need to side accordingly against them. Moar stun (Fossil Dyna, Doomcaliber), less dark engine.
@AnarchoMatthew No, that is incorrect, you can't chain to mobius' effect with bottomless, you respond to it's summon with bottomless. Stop posting incorrect info. your redundant redundancy isn't funny, go back to pojo :P
actually i stand corrected, apologies. i asked about this on pojos rulings and its a very legal to do that with solemn judgment and bottomless traphole, so my mistake.
Tribute to attempt to summon mobious, solemn starts chain link 1, mobius is not on the fiend yet, solemn is chained to the other solemn, allowing mobius to be summoned, mobious's on summon effect activates (this isnt part of the chain but its mandatory) selecting his new targets mobius destroys 2 cards, bottomless chains, and resolves in its own chain after mobius is SUCCESFULLY summoned.nuff said
Also adding onto my last comment yea lucas is a good player hes only been to 3 regionals going to be 4 come janurary and he got his nats invite on the 2nd attempt may 1st. so hes not bad you guys just dont know lucas's play style like i do lol so dont flame him on the channel >.>
Point is, you guys that are flaming me are jealous that I beat robby. The guy was kind enough to put this up here on youtube for me. Apparently i'm a bad player if my name isn't well known >.>. My point being, I haven't had the oppurtunities robbie has, i am a good player, only way to prove that is to beat people like this so suck it, i still won. Thanks again robbie you're awesome.
@TCGShadowSaints Yea this is our channel so youll see more duels and stuff from the starstrike sneak preview i filmed everything the two of us have seperate youtube accounts of course u know lucas's this is mine "shawn's" i dueled robbie last time in a team war and epic failed it but i fixed my mistakes so we decided to start a channel so if you guys want sub the channel TCGShadowsaints.
Solemns had their little clash before Mobius was summoned. Once the solemn cancelled the solemn, THEN mobius hit the field, so Bottomless is in perfect timing to chain. He simply waited for targets first ( of course )
mobius is on the field after solemn resolves...and he said chain bottomless. he tried to do this in another one of his videos and his opponent said he couldn't. and i would love to see some proof or a ruling that says you can activate bottomless to a summon AFTER a solemn judgment resolves because that shouldnt be possible
@Zero2Legend Judgment attempts to NEGATE the summon. Bottomless takes place after the summon has been allowed. You need to know your yugioh terms in order to understand this.
@mkohl40 ....ruling that states this happens according to the way you say it does? also, i dont need to know anymore "yu-gi-oh!s" or however the fuck you put it too understand that you cant chain bottomless traphole to solemn judgment. you say that your not but thats exactly whats happening. you tried that before in another video and your opponent wasnt having it. but like i said i would love to see a cause and effect ruling as too how that happens. otherwise its all hot air
@Zero2Legend Robby is right because once the summon wasent negated mobius's effect activates with ALL monarchs if you tribute summon them their effect activates first you dont have to announce a bottomless until the monarchs effect activates (in this case mobius) lol i like how positive you tryed to make yourself sound
@PhantomChris3000 like i said to him, i asked for a cause and effect ruling as to how you can still chain a card that was successful AFTER a solemn judgment failed to destroy the card. im not taking your word for it sorry but thats just speculation unless you have proof or a ruling. providing that will give you a better argument then just he said she said
@Zero2Legend ok hopefully people can see this after the video. you CAN use bottomless traphole after solemn judgment fails to stop it because it is the start of a new chain. if you dont believe me look in the Q /A on pojo. my user name is zeroknight and i asked about this myself and what robbie did is VERY LEGAL. go look for yourself though
@mkohl40 (is not the person you were first talkng to)
Chain and responses are 2 different things. You cannot chain bottomless to anything because it is being activated AFTER the fact that the monster was summoned. That is why it is a response and not a chain. So when someone "chains" bottomless, they're wrong.
@mkohl40 Well, he's correct, you cannot CHAIN bottomless, but you can RESPOND to the normal summon of mobius, after solemn resolves of course. There is a summon negation window, and once that window has closed, there is then a summon response window, which then opens.
@liroyals7 Yes you can. Solemn is used to try to negate the summoning of the monster. If the monster's summoning is succesful (ie not negated by something like Solemn) then you can respond to the summoning with cards like Bottomless.
The bottomless was a legal move because the effect of judgment resolves and then the monster is summoned successfully therefore he can activate it cause its a different chain...
@Xerodynamicz Yes you can. It's a different chain. Solemn negates the summon. bottomless can be activated when the monster is already on the field. So it's a perfect legal move.
it isn't a chain. the chain was to negate the summon so when the monster is summoned he activates bottemless the first chain isover.. in the other video he activated TT that doesn't negate a summon..

When someone summoned mobius they have to select two cards first before anything can chain.

People. come on.
By attempting to solemn judgement, they are in the "negation window". Once that has passed, a player can "chain onto the effect" of Mobius.
