it is worth playing, i play it and it is very fun. on top of that, it isnt exspensive at all

can you tell me what the play stile for ruby, diamond,amethyst, and emerald decks? because i'm wondering what deck i should build out of all 4

Well according to the rulebook:

-Red cards are aggressive and have lots of effects when attacking as well as lots of destruction effects.

-Purple cards are good at causing pain outside of battles and have many draw effects

-Green cards have low costs but normaly have high BP and they have lots of effects for gaining cores

-White cards are mainly defensive an activate while blocking

In my opinion, purple or a mix or purple with something else is the best deck you can make.

@blazingemperor nexus can be used over and over and if u have a spirit of the same color on the field as the one in your hand lets say like two beatbeetles on the field and like duke in ur hand u pay 2 less then wat his cost is

I find this game similar to Duel Masters. BS uses core when DM uses Mana. The digital animation in the show looks alike too.

I'm not sure if this game having an anime is good or bad anymore.. I like the game and I play MTG, started with Pokemon when it first came out though. I never got into Duel masters or YGO.

I'm getting tired of all these card games series.I mean ok, magic started it all, pokémon was cool and yugioh got it's slice of the cake by revolutionizing it (fliping cardswas cool) but hardly new battling monsters card games are successfull. I mean it's all the same: higher points wins, magic cards, life points (in this case it looks like diamonds?). that's why DM sucked: every edition was all about improving monsters' points, decreasing opponent's and have enough mana.

I want something new!

Absolutely nothing wrong with another DM. I really liked that game when it first came out. I'm hoping that they don't add a bunch of convoluted and confusing expansions (survivors? please) like they did with DM, though.

The fact that this is new and sounds promising are the number one reasons I will be playing this game. Got to get ahead of the curve, see?

Hey, not all of them can get dubbed Exactly like the original.... Bakugan was probably one of the best, at least they didn't mutilate it like shows such as Tokyo Mew Mew for example. As long as it doesn't get dubbed by 4kids, it should be watchable.

Yeah, the ENGLISH DUB anime of Duel Masters is horrible. But in Japan it's pretty popular and in fact it's only the 1st of 2nd top card game in Japan, either before Pokemon or after, so unless I see this Duel Masters rip off card game go on the top charts, then I refuse to believe this is better.

Hell, to me at least, the originial japanese version was so bad that the english dub actually looked GOOD by comparison.

Also, source of this information about Duel Masters being top pickings or second top pickings with Japan when it comes to TCGs? Not that I'm denying it, as I wouldn't be surprised if the Duel Masters card game itself was popular.

Uh, have you ever heard of a certain Japanese short mini program known as "Jung" that airs on TVTokyo? Yeah, they air those sort of things(card games stats, etc). And I wouldn't deny the popularity of DM when it's one of Corocoro's top selling manga all throughout Japan, spawning about 6 anime series and 2 movies, so obviously it's pretty popular.

Even this game, Battle Spirits or w/e, was created by technicians who developed DM and MTG. As you can see, it's basically another DM.
