if you have a boosted 400hp crx then its okay to be loud but with the power I have Im focussed on my car looking good so a quiet small exhaust and suspension is ideal for most hondas
Well my oem exhaust no longer passes emissions tests and its rusted stuck to the cat so I now have a magnaflow cat and need a new exhaust and personally yes if you have a crx like me and only has 120hp tops its best to look good by style not performance so im probably getting a OEM styled bosal stainless, nice and cheap, looks amazing, and quiet, loud cars give me headaches I found out lol
The problem with the SP2 or Tanabe is that they are loud bro...the reason I loved the HKS was it's nice quiet docile tone. The only time the exhaust would get above abnormal decible was when you were full throttle but even then it sounded really sick!
I made this video towards the first stages of my build...I no longer have the car but after the engine was tuned and built it sounded a lot sicker then this. And the best part was that it was quiet on the streets!

Hey this is a nice exahust. I want to order it, but want 2.5 inch. does that mean you buy the exhaust only for the muffler and not use the rest? Because I would rather not buy the exhaust system if I was not going to use most of it no what i mean?

I'm looking to get this for my Prelude too. The Prelude motor sounds really great revving, and I don't want to drown it out with exhaust sound. Also, I really don't want a fart can. As far as I know, this is one of the best alternatives, but I'm trying to find someone with more experience with this particular exhaust system with Preludes.
If you mean a K20a in a CRX yeah I see why not...depending on how long your header is you would have to modify the pipping to fit length wise.
Now Diameter size I don't know if you would get the same amount of power then if you went 3" on the pipping. The HKS muffler would restrict your enigne a bit so you would not feel its full potential.

Ohhh No...this is the quietest exhaust made for this car. It sounds stock! When you are driving the only thing you hear is the motor...what you are hearing on the video is not the exhaust. It's really the motor...
I hate loud exhaust...it's the reason I went with this. I can have a normal conversation in the car without yelling, and talk on my cell phone as well.
yeah, my buddy came up on a new one like this! sounds clean! yours sounds clean too! you got an intake on it? check out my vid of my b16a with a greddy mx exhaust! its a full catback as well, deep and throaty, and yes, mostly all that you hear is motor!

I'm looking to get this for my Prelude too. The Prelude motor sounds really great revving, and I don't want to drown it out with exhaust sound. Also, I really don't want a fart can. They are GSR fat five rims...I no longer have them on the car. But you can usually find them for sale on Honda-Tech or some other honda forums. :)
