i upgraded my master sword instead of falcon's talons / the lunar staff. any ways to possibly even pull that off on mentor difficulty? ;O i got like no healing items and only 1 ninpo

SOmetimes I can start the battle landing a UT on him no prob, others he does a wind slash or I get an IS thrown in my eyeballs... Meh, I suppose sooner or later he'll go down. If anyone is still having problems with him, this is the way I do it, do the same thing casting inferno at the beginning to kill those two guys, then use your staff (only needs to be level two) and keep jumping/dodging all the time exectuing jump+X+X+Y attacks (weak weak strong while jumping) this does major damage to the boss and all the ninjas that throw the incdendiary shurikens get instantly killed because he does the spinning piledriver on them.

man i think i've put in a good 40 min on this. i was trying to execute a similar plan but ryu stops charging if he gets stuck with an explosive shuriken which pretty much means a death sentence for me. i think they forgot to mention that luck has a lot to do with mastery of the ninja way heh. great job by the way.

that's exactly what i think too. the creators made this game sooo cheap. no matter how good you are, this game will punish you. and for no reason either. standing for more than a second will get u shot. forget about doing combos, you can barely get an attack in without getting pummelled by rockets, explosive shurikens or throws. and if u get past all those, there are always the bad camera angles to fuck you up. everything else in this game is the same. bottom line is this game is cheap.
i'm guessing they wanted to make the hardest game in existence, because, if so, they succeeded. I've never played a game this hard but it's sooooo fun :DD
thank you. this game is incredibly cheap. and the designers are very lazy in putting checkpoints right after bosses I don't know how many times I've had to fight a boss over again because I died later. and whoever thought up all these cheap fucking grab moves should go and die because it doesn't matter how good you are you still get your ass kicked by an unblockable cheap shot at your health bar trying to create an illusion of difficulty. if they would lose the cheap grabs and fix the camera.

OK so I have been working on this boss for quite some time and no luck. I get pwned. Do you charge the essence based ultimate attack instantly when you land from the air. I know essence helps you charge faster but this was instant! I need to know how to get past hime becuase like this guy I need to save my powerups for genshin.
i beat this boss also on mentor and am on chapter5 on mentor and u will need level 2 lunar
your spear and use the art of fire magic to kill most of the bomb ninja and counter attack the spider with x,x,y attack thats what i did. And by the way to the person who made this video how com u did not get a bomb shuriken in your gut while chargeing Ultimate technique because i did
use the falcon talons and do izuna on the ninja "jump xxy" and the splash back will hurt him then when hes on his own it should be ok... just keep trying oh and in the cutscene hold ultimate and you can get a lvl 1 charge in before the ninjas apear

when i try to do the ultimate attack i cant even press Y, cause every second i dont move i get hit by ninjas or shurikens.
in your video you dont even get attacked by shurikens and ninjas...this cant be on mentor

You know how I started the fight right away with some Ninpo? The guys who died from that provided me the essence needed for a level 2 UT.
