I'd guess Eden is probably a Garden, both for the obvious reasons and because it seems to have a similar ring as the Balamb and Galbadia Gardens do when flying. Maybe it's from the future? It's clearly doing something unnatural to time and space.

Just my theory, but Eden's attack could be a reference to the theory of General Relativity. At 0:34 space seems to curve, and ad 0:58 that magic circle thing has twelve sub-circles, representing clock, thus time, and at 1:18, a black hole appears. Time doesn't pass in black holes. Also, do notice the Ptolemaic universe chart at 0:13 , which was used for Sephiroth's Supernova too, and Almagest (the book where it is featured) was used as Kefka's attack's name. tl;dr doesn't matter; Eden my waifu.

Summoning Eden requires you to get to a new planet in a new galaxy, drop Eden down to bend reality, and then remake the world as a giant IMMAFIRINMAHLAZOR which shoots at the new galaxy and that drops the enemy FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE in less than a minute and a half. Do that without turning into Jenova AND YOU SHOULD BE PERFECTLY FINE.

When I examine Eden and its attack,I come to two conclusions about the GF,and both lead me to believe that Eden is in universe,synthetic,wheras all other GFs are natural.

You guys need to understand the parallelism.

In FF8 the soldiers are called 'SEEDS'.

These soldiers live in 'GARDEN'. For example, Balamb GARDEN, Galbadia GARDEN.

So SEEDS are in the GARDEN. Get it?

Now, EDEN is the strongest summon.

If you look at the summon, it actually looks like a GARDEN (like Balamb Garden, it moves). So basically, the summon is a garden.

Imagine it like..you are summoning Balamb Garden, it's that huge.

The key is to go after Ultima Weapon with as low of a level as possible. The lower your level, the easier it is to defeat him. If you did like I did and go at him with like level 70, you're going to die immediately.

Yes! I had the same problem; In the room with the long red carpet there is a latch to the right close to the wall. It's very easy to miss, it is in the ground to your right though and you must confirm on it... Now if only someone had told me you CANNOT go back after entering the Lunatic Pandora on disc 3...
