@dedmonds1988 I actually won this mission because of the bad AI. The entire GDI base was still there, they even still had their construction yard and harvester. I had lost all my units except for my engineer, but thankfully I'd taken out the guard towers, so I managed to sneak my engineer in there and capture the Orca. It was still in good health so as long as I timed my assault properly to avoid the gunboat, I had free reign. The GDI in the base never even attacked me once.

Just a few scientists? Nothing could be further from the truth. There is a fully-armed GDI garrison in the region waiting to fight you. Unbeknownst to him, Seth is really starting to dig his own grave here.

I think Seth knows its more than just a few scientists, but he lies to you in the briefing. Because he still wants you dead, and the chances increase when you are fooled into going off-guard by him giving you false information, since you believe the area is safe and has no resistance.
